The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is inviting application for 23 posts of Junior Engineer in Civil and Electrical discipline. Advertisement No. 2 /JE/2014-15. RESERVE BANK OF INDIA INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 23 POSTS OF JUNIOR ENGINEER (CIVIL/ ELECTRICAL). LAST DATE — 26/06/2015

 

1. Junior Engineer-Civil: 11 Nos.
Zone wise vacancies are as follows—

(i) West: 06 Nos. (SC—01; OBC—01 & Gen—04)
(ii) South: 02 Nos. (Gen)
(iii) Central: 03 Nos. (Gen)

Educational Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute or University or Board with minimum 65% of marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD) or Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PWD).

Experience: At least 2 years experience for Diploma holder or at least 1 year experience for Degree holders in execution and supervision of civil construction work and/ or civil maintenance of office buildings/ commercial buildings/ residential complexes with basic knowledge of RCC design and other civil works, working knowledge of computers, experience in preparation of tenders for civil works, etc.

Age Limit: Minimum 20 to Maximum 30 years.

 

 

2. Junior Engineer (Electrical): 12 Nos.
Zone wise vacancies are as follows—

(i) East: 02 Nos. (OBC—01 & Gen—1)
(ii) West: 07 Nos. (ST—01 & Gen—06)
(iii) South: 01 Nos. (Gen)
(iv) Central: 02 Nos. (Gen)

Educational Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institute or University or Board with minimum 65% of marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD) or Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PWD).

Experience: At least 2 years experience for Diploma holder or at least 1 year experience for Degree holders in execution and supervision of electrical installations in large buildings/ commercial buildings having HT/ LT substations, central AC plants, lifts, UPS, DG sets, CCTV, Fire alarm system, etc.

Age Limit: Minimum 20 to Maximum 30 years.

 

Pay Scale (for both posts): Rs.8040/- to Rs.20100/- per month plus other allowances.

 

Age Limits & Relaxation: The age mentioned above will be counted as on 05.06.2015. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; EBC/BC- 3yrs; Women- 03yrs; PWD-10 and Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Online Examination and Interview. The Online Examination will be for 200 marks and is scheduled to be held tentatively on July 05, 2015.

Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of RBI.

Application Fee: Rs.450/- (for Gen & OBC candidates) and Rs.50/- (for SC/ST; PWD and Ex-serviceman) is to be paid through Online mode only. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
