Central Coalfields Limited is recruiting 1427 candidates for the posts of – Jr. Overman, Mining Sirdar, Overseer (Civil), Dy.Surveyor, Asst. Educational Qualification —
1. Jr. Overman: Candidates must possess valid Overman’s Certificate of Competency, valid Gas Testing Certificate and Valid First Aid Certificate.
2. Mining Sirdar: Candidates must possess valid Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency, valid Gas Testing Certificate and Valid First Aid Certificate.
3. Overseer (Civil): Matriculation with 03 years duration Diploma course in Civil Engineering.
4. Dy. Surveyor (Mining): Matriculation with Mines Survey Certificate of competency granted by DGMS for working in Coal Mines.
5. Asst. Foreman (Elect.): Matriculation with 03 years duration Diploma course in Electrical Engineering and must possess Electrical Supervisorship Certificate valid for mines.
6. E.P.Electrician (Excv.)/ Technician: Matriculation with ITI in Electrician Trade with Statutory Certificate as per I.E Rules and must have completed Apprenticeship Training under Apprenticeship Act-1961.
7. Electrician (Non-Excv.)/ Technician: Matriculation with ITI in Electrician Trade and must have completed Apprenticeship Training under Apprenticeship Act – 1961. Candidates must possess LT Permit under IE rules for mines or 440-550 Volts mining parts.
Age Limit: Between 18yrs to 30yrs as on 30/10/2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs and for OBC- 3yrs. Others, if any, – As per norms.
Pay Scale: —
For the posts at Sl. No: 01, 02, 03, 04 & 05: Selected candidates shall be placed in Technical & Supervisory Grd.C on initial basic pay of Rs. 19,035.02 per month as per norms. (See the advt. link below for details)
For the posts at Sl. No: 06 & 07: Candidates will be placed on wages system during training period. Daily wages will be Rs.617/- and will be increased after completion of training period. (See the advt. link below for details)
Application Fee: Candidates willing to apply for the vacancies must pay Application Fee of Rs.100/- by demand draft from any nationalized Bank in favor of “Central Coalfields Limited” payable at Ranchi. Name of the candidate and post applied for should be written on the back side of the demand draft.
No Application Fee for SC/ST candidates (Such candidates must attach caste certificate with Application form)
Candidates’ Selection:
The selection of candidates will comprise of written test and interview. The candidates short listed in the written test shall only be eligible to appear for interview.
Written test: Eligible candidates will be required to appear for an objective type written test at any one of the test centers at Ranchi. Exact schedule of written test will be displayed on CCL website (www.ccl.gov.in) in due course.
Interview: Candidates short listed on the basis of their performance in the written test will be called for interview and the intimation will be given to the candidates through registered post and e-mail.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may submit their application form through Online mode or Offline mode as per convenience of the candidates.
For online Application form: Visit the official website of Central Coalfields Ltd – www.ccl.gov.in (See the live given below). Candidates must first register themselves with the website by providing email id and password.
After registration, they may login the website and can proceed to the online Application form.
After successful submission of online Application form, the system generated Registration slip along with unique application ID will appear on the computer screen. Print-out the generated slip on plain paper.
The print-out Registration slip alongwith recent colour passport size self attested photograph and attach DD & all other relevant documents in support of eligibility (See below) is to be send at the below given address.
The last date to fill the online Application form is 07/12/2013.
For Offline Application form: To apply offline, simply download the prescribed format from the website of CCL and send it at the below address along with testimonials (see below) & DD/Etc.
List of enclosures to be enclosed with Application form —
- Self Attested copies of all Educational Certificate starting from Matriculation certificate and Marksheet.
- Demand Draft of requisite fee (not applicable for SC/ST candidates)
- Two Self addressed envelope of 27×12 cm in size.
- Four additional self attested passport size colour photograph similar to the photograph pasted on the application form with name clearly written on the back side.
- Self attested copies of Caste certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates.
