Short form – Water Carrier (WC), Safai Karmachari (SK), Washer man/woman (WM).

The candidates can apply for only one trade. Written/ trade test will be conducted for the applied trade post. Vacancies reserved for Ex-Servicemen will be filled up by open candidates of respective categories, if suitable Ex-Servicemen are not available.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation or equivalent from recognized board.
Technical Qualification: 
i) For post of Constable(Fitter), candidates must possess either 2 year ITI Diploma Certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle issued by National Council for Vocational Training Or Diploma in Automobile issued by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE). Further for post of Constable (Fitter) the candidates should have one year experience
ii) For post of CT(Driver), candidates should possess “Transport Vehicle” driving licence and pass the driving test at the time of recruitment.
iii) For post of CT(Bugler/ Tailor/ Cobbler/ Carpenter/ Gardener/ Painter/ Pipe Band/ Brass Band/ Cook/ Water Carrier/Safai Karmachari / Barber/ Washerman/Woman & Hair Dresser), candidates should be having good working knowledge of trade in which he/she wishes to be enlisted.

Age Limit: Between 18yrs to 23yrs as on 01/01/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Physical Standards:
Male candidates: Height—170 cms (162.5 for ST candidates); chest (unexpanded/ expanded)—80/ 85cms (76/ 81cms for ST candidates). Cut-off for other categories is as per norms.
Female Candidates: Height—157 cms (147.5cms for ST); Chest: Not applicable. cut-off for other categories is as per norms.
Body Weight: Correspondence to height and age as per medical standards.
Eyesight: minimum 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes with correction in distant vision.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 plus Grade Pay: Rs.2000/- plus other allowances as per norms.

Selection of the candidates will be through Physical Measurement Test, Efficiency Test (for selected post only), Written Test, Trade Test and finally medical examination.
Written Test will be hold on 05/01/2014 (tentative date). Intimation will be given to the eligible candidates through call letters in due course.

Candidates must enclose 2 self-addressed envelopes (4×9 inches) with affixed postage stamp of Rs.22/- on each AND the DD/ Cheque of below prescribed Application Fee. There is no need to send any other documents or testimonials with the Application form.
