Panchayat and Rural Development Section, Coochbehar is recruiting 79 candidates for various posts at Gram Panchayat and Panchayat Samiti in Coochbehar district. Post — Executive Asst., Nirman Sahayak, Gram Panchayat Sahayak, Informatics Officer, Education Officer, Data Entry Operator, Account Clerk and Typist. The engagement will be initially made on a temporary basis. Employment Notification No. PRD/1328/X-1. Interested candidates may apply online. Qualification norms and brief details are given below —

PANCHAYAT AND R.D. SECTION, COOCHBEHAR REQUIRES 79 SAHAYAK, DATA ENTRY OPERATOR, CLERK, TYPIST, OFFICEERS, ETC. LAST DATE – 27/12/2013

GRAM PANCHAYAT LEVEL VACANCIES: —
1. Executive Assistant: 13 Nos. (Gen—7; SC—3; ST—1; OBC—2)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree and Diploma in Computer Application.
Desirable — Post Graduate or Diploma in Social Work or Rural Development and/or Experience in social work/ rural development is desirable.
Pay Scale: Rs.7100—37600 and Grade Pay: Rs.3600/-

2. Nirman Sahayak: 20 Nos. (Gen—13; ST—5; OBC—2)
Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering
Pay Scale: Rs.9000—40500 and Grade Pay: Rs.4400 plus other allowances as per norms.

3. Gram Panchayat Sahayak: 21 Nos. (Gen—12; SC—3; ST—2; OBC—4)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass. Candidates with 50% marks in aggregate in the Madhyamik or equivalent will be preferred.
Pay Scale: Rs.5400—25200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2300 plus other allowances as per norms.

PANCHAYAT SAMITI LEVEL VACANCIES — 
4. Block Informatics Officer: 1 Nos. (ST)
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in computer application or Bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Computer Science Or Bachelor’s degree in any stream with ‘A’ level certificate course of DOEACC with 3yrs Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/Electronics and Tele Communication shall also be considered, or Bachelor in Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Computer Science and Engineering, B.Tech.(IT) and B.Sc.(IT)
Or B.E. or B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, or B.Sc. in Computer Science or Master/Bachelor in Computer Application or B.Sc. in General Stream Course and M.Sc.(IT)from a recognized University/ Institution
Pay Scale: Rs.7100—37600 and Grade Pay: Rs.3900/-

5. Samiti Education Officer: 02 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Graduate degree with Post Graduate B.Ed. degree or Graduate Degree with three years experience in teaching in any Primary or Secondary School or Graduate Degree with three years experience of working in Govt. sponsored Alternative System of Education or Graduate degree with three years experience in Management of Education.
Pay Scale: Rs.7100—37600 and Grade Pay: Rs.3600 plus other allowances as per norms.

6. Data Entry Operator: 5 Nos. (Gen—2; SC—2; ST—1)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass or its equivalent AND having minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 20 words per minute in Bengali.
Knowledge in Computer operation (at least 3 months training)
Pay Scale: Rs.5400—Rs.25200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2600/-

7. Accounts Clerk: 10 Nos. [Gen—6; SC—3; ST—1; OBC-B (EC)—1]
Qualification: Madhyamik or equivalent. Diploma in Computer Application is desirable.
Pay Scale: Rs.5400—25200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2600 plus other allowances as per norms.

8. Clerk cum Typist: 07 Nos. (Gen—4; SC—2; OBC-A EC—1)
Qualification: Madhyamik or equivalent and must have typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and 20 words per minute in Bengali.
Pay Scale: Rs.5400—25200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2600 plus other allowances as per norms.

N.B: Reservation of vacancies for PH/ EC/ Ex-serviceman is as per norms. See the advt. for details.

Age Limit (For all posts): Between 18yrs to 40yrs as on 01/01/2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

The engagement to the above said vacancies will be initially on temporary basis.
Selection will be made through an open competitive examination to be conducted by the District Level Selection Committee, Cooch Behar.  The date and venue of written examination will be intimated through Admit card which can be downloaded from the below mentioned official website.
The list of candidates whose application are found valid will be available online tentatively on dated – 20/01/2013.

After submitting the online Application form, the system generated application along with a unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it on plain paper.

The print-out of the system generated application, duly attested by the Group “A” officer of Central or State Govt. / Govt. PSU/ Head Master or Head Mistress of Govt./Govt. Aided Higher Secondary or Secondary School shall have to be sent to the specific post bag number assigned for the purpose by ordinary post after superscribing the envelope as “Application for the Post of ……” and “Unique Registration Number……”
