4. Grinder: 8 Nos. (Gen—5; OBC—1; SC—2; ST—0)
5. Millwright: 11 Nos. (Gen—7; OBC—2; SC—2; ST—0)
6. Electrician: 10 Nos. (Gen—6; OBC—2; SC—2; ST—0)
7. Fitter Electronics: 5 Nos. (Gen—4; OBC—0; SC—1; ST—0)
8. Heat Treatment Operative (Semi-Skilled): 5 Nos. (Gen—3; OBC—1; SC—1; ST—0)
9. Painter: 2 Nos. (Gen—1; OBC—1)
Out of total vacancies 03 posts reserved for PWD and 10 posts for Ex-Servicemen.
Educational Qualification: Madhyamik pass (Matriculation) or equivalent AND National Council of Trades for Vocational Training (NCTVT) certificate in the relevant trade failing which by ITI or equivalent Diploma/ Certificate in relevant trade.
Candidates with Degree or Diploma in Engineering are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Between 18 years to 32 years as on 01-08-2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Selection of the candidates will be strictly on the basis of merit. The selection process with comprise of Written Test of 100 marks and Trade test (Practical). Written test will be objective type and OMR based.
Date and venue of written test will be intimated in due course through call letters.
Application Fee: Candidates willing to apply for the above vacancies must pay Application Fee of Rs.50/- through Demand Draft or Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of – General Manager, Field Gun Factory, Kalpi Road, Kanpur—208009.

Candidates must enclose attested copies (Attestation by Gazetted Officer) of the testimonials in support of Educational Qualification, Trade certificate, Mark-sheets, Caste certificate, Age proof document, DD/IPO of Fee and Etc.
The envelope containing the print-out and enclosures must be superscribe as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _________ (SEMI-SKILLED)”.
