GAIL  (India) Limited, Vadodara – Gujarat, is recruiting 45 Non-Executives in different Category and Trades (listed below), for the work-centres / units located in the State of Gujarat. Eligible and interested candidates may apply on prescribed application format. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria in brief is given below —

GAIL (INDIA) LTD, GUJARAT, REQUIRES 45 NON-EXECUTIVE IN DIFFERENT CATEGORIES AS STATED BELOW. LAST DATE: 18/07/2013

Group C Posts in Grade S-3 in Pay Scale of Rs. 12500 – 33000
1. Technician (Mechanical): 6 Nos.
2. Technician (Electrical): 5 Nos.
3. Technician (Instrumentation): 4 Nos.
Qualification Required (From Sl.No.1 to 3): Matriculation and ITI/ NAC in relevant trades. AND 2yrs post qualification experience in Industries.

4. Operator (Boiler Operation): 5 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation and ITI/ NAC and 2nd Class Boiler Attendant Certificate of Competency or Graduate Degree in Science (B.Sc) with subjects of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with minimum 55% marks and 2nd Class Boiler Attendant Certificate of Competency
AND 1yr post qualification experience in the field in reputed Industries.

5. Operator (Fire): 6 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent with minimum 06 months Fireman’s Training course. Driving License for heavy vehicle/ Fire Tenders; Proficiency in operating pump/ other firefighting equipment
AND 2 yrs post qualification experience in Industries.

6. Assistant (S&P): 2 Nos
Qualification: Bachelor Degree with minimum 55% marks and minimum typing speed of 40 w.p.m in English (in computer). Candidates should be proficient in operations of personal computer.
AND 1yr post qualification experience in the field.

7. Assistant (Human Resources): 2 Nos.
Qualification and Experience: Same as the above post.

8. Account Assistant: 2 Nos.
Qualification: B.Com with minimum 55% marks and minimum typing speed of 40 w.p.m in English (in computer). Candidates should be proficient in operations of personal computer.
AND 1yr post qualification experience in the field.

GROUP C POSTS IN GRADE S-5 IN PAY SCALE OF RS. 14500 – 36000
9. Foreman (Mechanical): 2 Nos.
10. Foreman (Electrical): 2 Nos.
11. Foreman (Chemical): 5 Nos.
12. Forman (Civil): 1 Nos.
Qualification Required (From Sl.No.9 to 12): Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks AND 2yrs of post qualification experience in Industries.

13. Junior Superintendent (HR): 2 Nos.
Qualification: Bachelor Degree with Diploma in Personnel Management /Industrial Relations with minimum 55% marks in each. Candidates should be proficient in operations of Personal Computers
AND 2yrs post qualification in PSU/ Industries.

14. Junior Accountant: 1 Nos.
Qualification:  Intermediate or equivalent in CA/ ICWA. Candidates must be proficient in Computer
OR M.Com in Commerce with minimum 60% marks and proficiency in Computer.
Candidates should have 2yrs of post qualification experience in PSU/ Industries.

N.B: The Post Qualification Experience in line in Oil/ Gas/ Petrochemicals/ Chemicals/Fertilizer/ Power/ Steel Industry and etc is preferred.
Percentage of Marks: Wherever minimum qualifying percentage of marks have been specified as 55 % or 60%, relaxed minimum educational qualification(s) percentage in respect of SC, ST, and PWD candidates is 50 % or 55% as the case may be. In case if any SC/ST candidates applying for the post marked for unreserved/ general categories; then the cut-off in the percentage of marks will not be applicable.

Age Limit: —
For Group-C posts in S-3: Candidates must be within 30yrs old.
For Group-C posts in S-5: Candidates must be within 32yrs old.
The age will be counted as on 18-07-2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Application Fee: Candidates willing to apply for the post must pay Application Fee of Rs.50/- by Demand Draft / Pay Order drawn in favour of GAIL (India) Limited payable at State Bank of India, Vaghodia, District: Vadodara, (Branch Code: 9927). Name of the candidate & post applied for should be written on the back side of the demand draft.
SC/ ST/ PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

Candidates must enclose attested copies of testimonials/ documents in support of – Educational Qualification, Technical qualification certificate/ marksheets, Post qualification experience certificate, Age proof certificate, Caste certificate, DD/IPO of prescribed fee and Etc. 
A recent passport size colour photograph should be firmly pasted on the application form and should be signed across by the candidate. Three copies of the same photo should be retained for use at the time of test and or/interview.
