Indian Overseas Bank Manipal School of Banking (IOBMSB)
Name of Course: Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance
Duration of the Course: One year.
No. of Vacancies: 480 Nos. (Gen—243; SC—72; ST—36). Out of total vacancies, 14nos. for PH candidates.
Course Fee: Rs.3.30 Lakhs (all inclusive of Boarding, Lodging and course fees, other fees, etc.) plus service taxes, as applicable to be paid by the selected candidates. The candidates selected for training can finance the Course fees by availing an Educational Loan under IOB Vidya Jyoti Educational Loan Scheme.

Course Advantage: On successful completion of the programme, the programme participants would be awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Banking & Finance (PGDBF) by Manipal University and would be absorbed as Probationary Officers in Indian Overseas Bank.

Eligibility Criteria —

Educational Qualification (as on 01.09.2013): Graduation from a recognised University/Institution with minimum 60% Marks. (55% marks for SC/ST/PH candidates)
The candidates should produce the Semester/Year wise Mark Sheets, Consolidated Degree Mark Sheet and Provisional Certificate at the time of Interview,

Age (as on 01.09.2013): Minimum 20yrs and maximum 28yrs. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Selection Process: Selection of the candidates will be through Online Examination which will be Objective in nature in the following subjects — (i) Reasoning, (ii) English Language, (iii) Quantitative Aptitude, (iv) General Awareness – Banking Industry and (v) Computer Knowledge.
Total marks will be – 200 and duration – 2 hours. The above tests except the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.
There will be negative marking for wrong answer.

Qualified candidates from online examination will be called for Interview. The Interviews will be held at different centres on different dates as decided by the Bank and will be communicated to the candidates shortlisted for Interview.

STIPEND (DURING THE TRAINING):
During the Training Period (9 Months) – 2500/- per month
During the Internship Period (3 Months) – 10000/- per month

Candidates on successful completion of the course will be absorbed in Indian Overseas Bank as Probationary Officer in JMG Scale — I
The selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years (24 months of active service) from the date of joining the services of the Bank as per the rules of the Bank

Pay Scale –  14500 — 257000 plus other allowances as per norms.

After registering online candidates are advised to take a printout of their system generated online application forms. There is no need send any hard copy of form to anywhere.

Before applying online, the candidate has to remit the application fee/ intimation charge as applicable to the candidate with the filled up Payment Receipt Challan in any of Indian Overseas Bank’s branches by means of cash only and collect candidate’s copy of Payment Receipt Challan for the application fee / intimation charge paid. Please ensure that the following information has been correctly entered (1) Name, (2) Category, (3) Contact Phone Number (4) Branch Name & Code Number, (5) Transaction ID, (6) Date of deposit and amount paid in the Payment Receipt Challan.
Fee Amount: Rs.500/- for unreserved and general candidates And Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PH candidates.

Last Date —
Online Registration will remain open from 10/07/2013 TO 29/07/2013. Application fee can be too paid within this period.
