Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) is inviting Online Application form for 671 Posts. In Part-I, the posts are — Laboratory Asstt., Scientific Asstt., and Armourer in various discipline. And in Part-II — Matron, Warder and Assistant Superintendent. Eligible and interested candidates may apply Online within below scheduled date. Qualification norms and brief details is given below —

Name of the posts and qualification norms —

1. Matron (Female): 81 Nos. (Gen—41; SC—12; ST—06; OBC—22)
Department — Delhi Prisons Department.

Qualification: 10+2 (Senior Secondary) passed. Candidates must meet the following physical standards — Height: 157 Cms. (152 cms for ST/ Gorkhas/Garwalis/Dogras); Vision:  6/6 without glasses. Candidates must have sound health free from defect/deformity/disease.

Physical Endurance Test: (a) 800 Mtrs race in four minutes, (b) 09 feet Long Jump and 03 feet High Jump (qualifying in three chances). During the PET, a checkup will also be made for any defect or deformity (including bow-legged, knocked knees, flat feet etc.) which would render the candidate ineligible for recruitment.

Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200+Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-
Age Limit: 18yrs to 27yrs. Upper age relaxation is as per norms.

2. Warder (Male): 528 Nos. (Gen—268; SC—79; ST—39; OBC—142)
Department — Delhi Prison Department

Qualification: 10+2 (Senior Secondary passed). Candidates must possess sound health, free from defect/deformity/disease and shall meet the following standards — Vision 6/6 without glasses, both eyes free from colour blindness;  Height: 170 cms, (165 cms for Gorkhas/Garwalis/Dogras and ST) ,Chest : 81 – 85 Cms and expandable by 05 cms (Relaxable by 5 cms for candidates belonging to Gorkhas/Garwalis/Dogras and Schedule Tribe candidates).

Physical Endurance Test (PET): (a) 1600 Mts. race in six minutes, (b) 13 feet Long Jump and 3 feet 9 inch High Jump (qualifying in three chances). During the PET, a checkup will also be made for any defect or deformity (including bow-legged, knocked knees, flat feet etc.) which would render the candidate ineligible for recruitment.

Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200+Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-
Age Limit: 18 to 27 years. Upper age relaxation is as per norms.

3. Assistant Superintendent: 35 Nos. (Gen—19; SC—5; ST—2; OBC—09)
Department — Delhi Prisons Department

Qualification: Degree in any discipline from recognized University.

Physical Standards —
Physical Standard (for Male): Height: 5’ 4½’’ for Gorkhas & Dogras, 5’6” for others. Chest: 32’ (Girths).
Physical Standard (for female): Height: 5’ 0”. Note: No relaxation permissible for physical standard.

Physical Endurance Test —
Physical Endurance Test (PET) for male: – (a) 1600 meters race in 06 (six) minutes and 30 seconds., (b) High Jump – 3’ 6” (in 3 chances). (ii) Broad jump/ Long Jump – 13.0 feet (in 3 chances)
Physical Endurance Test (PET) (for female):- (a) 800 meters race in 4min 30secs , (b) High Jump – 3’.00 feet ” (in 3 chances) and (c) Broad jump/Long Jump – 9.0 feet (in 3 chances).
During PET, a check will also be made for any defect or deformity (including bow-legged, knocked knees, flat-feet etc.) which would render candidate ineligible for recruitment.

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2800/-
Age Limit: 18 to 27 years. Upper age relaxation is as per norms.

After successful submission of Online application form, candidates must print out the system generated registration slip and retain safely for future use. There is no need to send any hard copy of application or testimonials to anywhere.  All the verification will be done at final steps.

Selection of the candidates will be through One Tier examination scheme and Physical Endurance Test wherever applicable. (See the advt. link below)
The centers for holding the examination will be in Delhi only.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs.100/- through any branch of State Bank of India by means of fee payment challan. Fee challan will be generated automatically after successful submission of online application.
No Application Fee for SC/ST/ PH and Ex-servicemen.
