GREF is recruiting 936 Store Supervisor/ Hindi Typist/ Mechanic/ Driver/ Operator & Lab Asst. Last Dt. 23/07/2013

General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF) is recruiting 936 candidates for the posts of – Supervisor Store, Lab Asst., Hindi Typist, Vehicle Mechanic, Driver (Road Roller/ Mechanical Transport) and Operator (Excavator). Eligible male candidates may apply for the post. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below. Advt. No. 01/2013 —

1. SUPERVISOR STORE: 1 Nos. (ST)
Qualification: Degree or equivalent and certificate in Material Management or Inventory
Control. or Inventory Control or Stores Keeping
OR 2yrs experience in handling of Engineering Stores

2. LABORATORY ASSISTANT: 6 Nos. (Gen—5; OBC—2)
Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent and Laboratory Assistant Certificate from ITI or recognized Institute.

3. HINDI TYPIST: 11 Nos. (Gen—7; SC—2; ST—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent and ability to Type at the speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer

4. VEHICLE MECHANIC: 111 Nos. (Gen—62; SC—26; ST—7; OBC—16)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and Certificate of Mechanic in Motor Vehicle/Diesel/Heat Engine from Industrial Training Institute or equivalent
OR Possessing certificate of Mechanic in internal Combustion Engine/Tractor from Industrial Training Institute or equivalent

5. DRIVER MECHANICAL TRANSPORT (ORDINARY GRADE): 612 Nos. (Gen—312; SC—92; ST—43; OBC—165)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and must posses a heavy Motor Vehicle driving licence.

6. OPERATOR EXCAVATING MACHINERY (ORDINARY GRADE): 149 Nos. (Gen—77; SC—22; ST—10; OBC—40)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and Possessing Heavy Motor Driving licence OR Driving licence for Dozer/Excavator and six months experience in driving Dozer/Excavator.

7. DRIVER ROAD ROLLER (ORDINARY GRADE): 46 Nos. (Gen—24; SC—7; ST—3; OBC—12)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and must possess  a heavy Motor vehicle or Road Roller driving licence with experience of six months in Road Roller Driving.

Age Limit (for all above posts): Between 18ysr to 27yrs as on last date of application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Pay Scales—
For Post in Sl.NO.1: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2400/-
For post in Sl.No.2: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2000/-
For posts in Sl.No.3 to 7: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-

Selection of the candidates will be through Physical Test (i.e. Height & Weight measurement), Written Test/Trade Test (as applicable) and Interview. Physical Efficiency Test will be there for the post of Mechanic/ Driver (Excavating machinery & Road Roller)/ Operator. Refer the Advt. for details.

Only male candidates may apply. Test will be at various Zone of GREF (State wise) — Rishikesh Zone, Tezpur Zone and Pune Zone.
Candidates from West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, Bihar, Sikkim, Assam and States of North-Eastern regions will sit for Tezpur Zone. (details in the Advt.)

Attested copies of certificate for proof of residence, essential educational qualification, date of
birth and caste certificate should be enclosed with application form.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs.50/- in form of Account payee Demand Draft prepared in favour of COMMANDANT, GREF CENTRE, PUNE – 411 015 payable at SBI Khadki Branch, Pune Code No.01629.
SC/ST and PH candidates are not require to pay Application Fee.
Candidates willing to apply for more than one post must submit separate application and DD for each post.
