Chandigarh Administration is inviting Online application for engagement of 94 Clerks and Steno-Typists on regular basis for various departments. Interested applicants may apply for the vacancies only through online system from the official website of Chandigarh Administration (see below). Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is as follows —
1. CLERK: 87 Nos. (Gen—44; SC—20; OBC—23). Out of them 5 for PH and 4 for Ex-servicemen.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and proficiency in Computer and a speed of 35 W.P.M. in English Typewriting on the computer
2. STENO-TYPISTS: 07 Nos. (Gen—5; OBC—2). Out of them 1nos. for Ex-servicemen.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and proficiency in Computer and a speed of 80 words per minute in Stenography (English) and a speed of 20 words per minute in transcripting the same on the computer.
Pay Scale: Rs.10300 – 34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.3200. Initial pay is Rs.13500/- per month.
Age Limit: Between 18 years and 25 years as on 1.1.2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
