Mumbai Port Trust is inviting application from males and females candidates for recruitment of below mentioned Graduate/ Technician and Trade Apprentices for Apprenticeship Training in the year 2013-14, under Apprentice Act, 1961. 1. Graduate in Mechanical Engineering: 2 Nos.
Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Graduate in Electrical Engineering: 3 Nos.
Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering.
3. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: 3 Nos.
Qualification: Diploma in mechanical engineering.
4. Diploma in Electrical Engineering: 3 Nos.
Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
5. Fitter: 4 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation/ Class 10 pass at first attempt (with minimum 50% marks in case of General Candidates)
6. Carpenter: 4 Nos.
7. Welder: 5 Nos.
Qualification (For No.6 and No.7) : Class 8 pass with ITI in respective trade
8. Mechanic (Diesel): 5 Nos.
9. Pipe Fitter: 1 Nos.
10. Machinist: 2 Nos.
11. Electrician: 7 Nos.
12. Mechanic (Motor Vehicle): 8 Nos.
13.Draughtsman (Mechanical): 1 Nos.
Qualification (From Sl.No.8 to No.13): Matriculation/ Class 10 pass and ITI in respective trade.
14. Programming And System Administration Assistant (PASAA): 10 Nos.
Qualification: Class 12/ HSC or equivalent and passed NTC Examination in the trade of Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) in ITI.
Age Limit: Candidates must be within 14yrs to 19yrs for SSC/ Class 10 passed candidates. Maximum 21yrs for ITI passed candidates as on 01-10-2013. No upper limit for Graduate and Technician Apprentices.
Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs, PWD—10yrs and Ex-Serviceman and Others—As per Govt. norms.

Cost of Application form & Prospectus: Rs.20/- in cash or in form of IPO drawn in favour of — “BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF PORT OF MUMBAI” payable at G.P.O. Mumbai.
