Sutlej Gramin Bank is inviting application for the posts of Officer (JMG Scale-I) and Office Assistant (Multipurpose). Total vacancies—39 Nos. Eligible candidates who have appeared and qualified the Common Written Examination for RRBs conducted by IBPS in September, 2012 are eligible to apply for the vacancies. Application form is to be submitted through Online system only. Qualification norms and brief details is given below —
1. OFFICER SCALE – I: 10 Nos. (Gen—5; SC—2; ST—1; OBC—2)
Qualification: Degree in any discipline or its equivalent AND proficiency in local language, i.e. Official Language of the Punjab State and must have passed Punjabi as one of the subjects at Matriculation/10th Standard
2. OFFICE ASSISTANT (MULTIPURPOSE): 29 Nos (Gen—15; SC—6; ST—00; OBC—08). Out of them 1 is reserved for PH and 1 is reserved for Ex-servicemen candidates.
Qualification: Degree in any discipline or its equivalent AND proficiency in local language, i.e. Official Language of the Punjab State and must have passed Punjabi as one of the subjects at Matriculation/10th Standard
Essential Requirement: Beside above mentioned educational qualification, candidates must have appeared and qualified the Common Written Examination for RRBs conducted by IBPS in the month of September, 2012 and must have obtained the Qualifying Standard Score.

Age Limit:
For Officer Scale- I: Above 18 years – Below 28 years
For Office Assistant: Between 18 years and 28 years
Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Pay scale:
Officer JM Scale – I : Rs.14500— Rs.25700.
Office Assistant : Rs.7200— Rs.19300.
Other allowances & perquisites will be admissible as per the rules of the Bank.
Candidates’ Selection:
Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRBs- Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview.
Depending on the number of vacancies, Bank will call from among who have applied to bank, thenumber, equivalent to three times the number of vacancies short-listed based on their Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS).
The Interview will be held at the Bathinda centre and the complete address of the venue will beadvised in the call letters.

Rs.100/- for General and OBC candidates AND Rs.20/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

After final submission of the Application form, the system generated Registration Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it and must retain it safely for future references.
There is no need to submit the print-out application or any other documents to the bank. All the verification of documents will be done during Interview process, if called.
