INDIAN ARMY, ARMY RECRUITING OFFICE LANSDOWNE INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY, SOLDIER TECHNICAL, SOLDIER NURSING ASSISTANT/ NURSING ASSISTANT VETERINARY, SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL/ INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AND SOLDIER TRADESMAN (ALL ARMS). LAST DATE — 01/05/2020
1. SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY
Educational Qualification: Class 10th/ Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Boards following grading system minimum of D grade (33-40) in each subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.
Age Limit: Between 17 ½ – 21 years.
2. SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY (IDG)
Educational Qualification: Class 10th/ Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Boards following grading system minimum of D grade (33-40) in each subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.
Age Limit: Between 17 ½ – 21 years.
3. SOLDIER TECHNICAL
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: Between 17 ½ – 23 years.
4. SOLDIER NURSING ASSISTANT/ NURSING ASSISTANT VETERINARY
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject.
OR
10+2/ Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject.
Age Limit: Between 17 ½ – 23 years.
5. SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL/ INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate Examination Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.
Age Limit: Between 17 ½ – 23 years.
6. SOLDIER TRADESMAN (ALL ARMS)
Educational Qualification: i) Class 10th Simple Pass.
ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: Between 17 ½ – 23 years.
7. SOLDIER TRADESMAN (ALL ARMS)
Educational Qualification: i) Class 8th Simple Pass (for sync House Keeper & Mess Keeper).
ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: Between 17 ½ – 23 years.
Army Recruitment Rally for the posts will be held from 14th – 27th May, 2020 at VC GBS Camp Kotdwara.
Only candidates of districts Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Tehri, Pauri Garhwal, Rudraprayag, Haridwar and Dehradun of Uttarakhand state are eligible to apply.
Physical Standards:
(i) Height — 163 cm (157 cm for Sl. no. 2 and 162 cm for Sl. no. 5); (ii) Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cm; (iii) Chest (expanded) — 82 cm; (iv) Weight — 48 kgs.
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test, Medical Test and Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
