INDIAN ARMY, RECRUITMENT OFFICE (HEADQUARTER) LUCKNOW INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY, SOLDIER TECHNICAL, SOLDIER TECHNICAL NURSING ASSISTANT/ NURSING ASSISTANT VETERINARY, SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL AND SOLDIER TRADESMAN (ALL ARMS). LAST DATE — 17/01/2020
1. SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY
Educational Qualification: Class 10th/ Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 21 years.
2. SOLDIER TECHNICAL
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years.
3. SOLDIER TECHNICAL NURSING ASSISTANT/ NURSING ASSISTANT VETERINARY
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% marks in each subject.
OR
10+2/ Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years.
4. SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2/ Intermediate pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce and Science) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject.
ii) Securing 50% marks in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years.
5. SOLDIER TRADESMAN (ALL ARMS)
Educational Qualification: i) Class 10th simple pass.
ii) No stipulation in aggregated percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years.
6. SOLDIER TRADESMAN (ALL ARMS)
Educational Qualification: i) Class 8th simple pass (For Syce, House Keeper and Mess Keeper).
ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years.
Other Eligibility: Only candidates from districts Auraiya, Banda, Barabanki, Chitrakoot, Fatehpur, Gonda, Hamirpur, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Lucknow, Mahoba and Unnao of state Uttar Pradesh are eligible to apply for the rally.
Army Recruitment Rally for the posts will be held from 02nd February, 2020 to 20th February, 2020 at Fatehpur (Uttar Pradesh).
Physical Standards:
(i) Height — 169 cms (162 cms for Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical); (ii) Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cms; (iii) Chest (expanded) — 82 cms; (iv) Weight — 50 kgs.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test, Medical Test and Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
