1. SOLDIER (GENERAL DUTY)
Educational Qualification: Class 10th/ Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Board following grading system minimum of D Grade (33-40) in each subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.
Age Limit: Between 17½ to 21 years.
2. SOLDIER TECHNICAL
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: Between 17½ to 23 years.
3. SOLDIER TECHNICAL NURSING ASSISTANT (AMC)/ NURSING ASSISTANT VETERINARY
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject.
OR
10+2/ Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.
Age Limit: Between 17½ to 23 years.
4. SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL/ INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce and Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject.
ii) Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.
Age Limit: Between 17½ to 23 years.
Army Recruitment Rally for the posts will be held from 01st August, 2020 to 13th August, 2020 at 1 ADSR grounds (Opposite Flying Club, Patiala-Sangrur Road), Patiala.
Only candidates of districts Fatehgarh Sahib, Barnala, Mansa, Sangrur and Patiala (Punjab) are eligible to apply.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 170 cms (162 cms for Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical/ Inventory Management); Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cms; Chest (expanded) — 82 cms; Weight — 50 kgs
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test, Medical Test and Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
