Assam Rifles is conducting Special Recruitment Rally for 544 Constable (GD) & Rifleman (GD) at Manipur and Nagaland. Last Dt. 31/05/2013

Assam Rifles will hold a Special Recruitment Rally at the border districts of Manipur, NRS-Dimapur and Nagaland, {NRS-Dimapur}, for recruitment of 544 Constable (General Duty) in CAPFS and Rifle Men (GD) in Assam Rifles. The Rally will begin from 03 June, 2013. Brief details is given below —

— CONSTABLE (GD) in CAPFS: 244 Nos. (Gen—122; OBC—32; SC—07; ST—83)
— RIFLEMEN (GD) in Assam Rifles: 300 Nos. (Gen—96; OBC—95; SC—64; ST—102)

RECRUITMENT RALLY AT MANIPUR AND NAGALAND
Only eligible Male candidates from the districts of Ukhrul, Chandel and Churachandpur of Manipur state and Tuensang, Kiphire, Mon and Phek of Nagaland state may appear the posts in General Duty Category as specified above.

Qualification: Matriculation/ Class 10 pass from a recognised board/ university.

Age limit: Between 18yrs to 23yrs as on 01.08.2012. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others- As per norms.

Physical Standards of the candidates:
Height—162.5 cms (160 cms for ST candidates from NE States except Assam)
Chest (unexpanded/ expanded): 77cms/ 82cms (76cms/ 81cms for ST candidates from NE States except Assam.
Candidates must be physically fit and free from any deformity

Selection of the candidates will be through Height Measurement, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Test and Medical Examination. (Refer the Advt. link given below for complete details).

Physical Efficiency Test:—
(1). 5Km run within 24 Minutes.

Written Test: The written test will consist of objective type multiple choice questions. The question paper will consist of 100 questions of 100 marks to be attempted in 2 hours. It will consists the following subject/ topics — General awareness/general knowledge of elementary mathematics, analytical aptitude and ability of observe and distinguish patterns and to test the basic knowledge of the candidates in English/Hindi.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may report at the nearest Assam Rifles Unit/ Formation HQ to deposit of filled up application form/ Admit Cards and receipt of the signed Admit Card at the PST & PET centres wef 27 May 2013 to 31 May 2013.
Application will be only accepted by hand.
Conduct of documentation and PST/PET wef 03 Jun 2013 to 08 Jun 2013.
