RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D in Meteorology/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Oceanography/ Physics/ Applied Physics with Meteorology or equivalent subjects as the main subject.
OR
ME/ M.Tech in Atmospheric Science/ Ocean Sciences with at least 03 years of research experience with at least one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) journal related to Atmospheric/ Oceanic/ Climate Sciences.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years as on 29/11/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.47000 per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. For PWD, Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Note: Essential qualification of ME/ M.Tech or equivalent degree should be in First class with a minimum of 60% marks (aggregate of all semesters) or equivalent CGPA.
Pre-qualification of BE/ B.Tech/ M.Sc or equivalent degree should also be in First Class with an aggregate of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or equivalent CGPA.
The posts are Temporary in nature and the selected candidates will be appointed initially for a period of Three (03) years, extendable upto the validity of the project.
