The candidates will be appointed initially for a period of Two (02) years (extendable as per rules in case of Junior Research Fellow). DRDO- DEFENCE MATERIALS & STORES RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT ESTABLISHMENT (DMSRDE) WILL CONDUCT WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR 06 POSTS OF RESEARCH ASSOCIATE AND JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF). WALK-IN DATE — 21/10/2019 and 22/10/2019
1. RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (Chemistry or Materials Engineering)
Educational Qualification:
i) For Chemistry:- Ph.D or equivalent degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University.
ii) For Materials Engineering:- Ph.D or equivalent degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University.
OR
Having 03 years of research, teaching or design and development experience after ME/ M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) journal.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 21/10/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.54,000/- per month.
2. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (Chemistry-01, Physics-01)
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate degree in relevant discipline in 1st division with NET qualification.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 21/10/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.31,000/- (1st & 2nd year) per month.
3. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (Mechanical Engineering-02, Chemical Engineering-01)
Educational Qualification: Graduate degree in professional course (B.E/ B.Tech) in relevant discipline in 1st division with NET/ GATE.
OR
Post Graduate degree in professional course (M.E/ M.Tech) in relevant discipline in 1st division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 22/10/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.31,000/- (1st & 2nd year) per month.
The candidates will be appointed initially for a period of Two (02) years (extendable as per rules in case of Junior Research Fellow).
Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D thesis may also appear in Walk-in Interview for Research Associateship.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview.
