1. RESEARCH ASSOCIATE- III
No. of Vacancies: 15 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Ph.D in Remote Sensing & GIS (utilizing Optical Remote Sensing)/ Geo-Informatics, Geography, Geo-Sciences, Environment Science, Computer Science and Engineering, Agronomy, Meteorology with use of Geo-spatial techniques in Ph.D research work.
OR
1st class Master’s degree in Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geo-Informatics/ Agronomy/ Meteorology/ Environment Science/ Geography/ Computer Science from recognized University with minimum 03 years experience in relevant field.
AND
With minimum 02 years research, teaching experience relevant to Optical Data Remote Sensing and Image classification at least one research paper in SCI journal/ peered review journal after fulfilling the essential qualification.
OR
ii) Ph.D in Remote Sensing & GIS (utilizing Microwave Remote Sensing)/ Geo-Informatics, Geography, Geo-Sciences, Environment Science, Computer Science and Engineering, Agronomy, Meteorology with use of Geo-spatial techniques in Ph.D research work.
OR
1st class Master’s degree in Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geo-Informatics/ Agronomy/ Meteorology/ Environment Science/ Geography/ Computer Science from recognized University with minimum 03 years experience in relevant field.
AND
With minimum 02 years research, teaching experience relevant to Microwave Data Remote Sensing and Image classification at least one research paper in SCI journal/ peered review journal after fulfilling the essential qualification.
OR
iii) Ph.D degree in Forestry/ Botany/ Energy Environmental Sciences using RS/ GIS/ Geo Informatics/ Geomatics/ Geo-spatial technology etc. from a recognized Institute/ Organization.
OR
1st class Master’s degree in Forestry/ Botany/ Energy Environmental Sciences/ M.Tech (GI)/ M.Sc (GI) with 03 years of experience in Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geo-spatial technology.
AND
Minimum 02 years of research experience in the field of remote sensing in forestry/ natural resources related studies and at least one research paper in SCI journal/ peered review journal after fulfilling the essential qualification.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.40000 per month/ Rs.54000 per month
2. PROJECT FELLOW
No. of Vacancies: 16 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) 1st class Master’s Degree in Agronomy/ Energy Environmental Sciences/ Geography/ Meteorology/ Soils/ with PG Diploma in RS/ GIS/ Geo spatial technology/ Geomatics etc. from a recognized Institute/ Organization.
OR
1st class Master’s degree in RS/ GIS/ Geoinformatics/ Geomatics/ Geo spatial technology etc.
ii) 1st class Master’s degree in Forestry/ Botany/ Energy Environmental Sciences/ Geography with PG Diploma in RS/ GIS/ Geo spatial technology/ Geomatics etc. from a recognized Institute/ Organization.
OR
1st class in M.Tech/ ME/ M.Sc in RS/ GIS/ Geo Informatics/ Geomatics/ Geospatial technology from a recognized Institute/ Organization.
OR
iii) 1st class Master’s Degree in Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geoinformatics.
OR
1st class Master’s degree in Agriculture/ Geography with PG Diploma Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geoinformatics.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25000 per month/ Rs.31000 per month
3. JUNIOR PROJECT ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 15 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) One year diploma course in Geo-Informatics Assistant (GIA) at ITI.
OR
ii) Geo-Informatics Assistant (GIA), ITI OR ITI Diploma (COPA) with GIS experience.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.15000 per month

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test/ Skill Test.
