1. RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Environmental Sciences/ Glaciology/ Geology/ Geophysics/ Climate Change Studies/ Water Resources/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geo-informatics/ Sciences/ any other relevant discipline or having 03 years of research, teaching, and design and development experience after M.E/ M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
Desirable: i) Expert in climate change modelling studies, Glacial studies, mathematical modelling, Chemical analysis, Remote Sensing and GIS software’s and data interpretation.
ii) Excellent report writing skills etc.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.47000 per month
2. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Environmental Sciences/ Glaciology/ Geology/ Geophysics/ Climate Change Studies/ Water Resources/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geo-informatics/ Sciences/ any other relevant disciplines with NET/ GATE.
Desirable: Experience in climate change studies, Glacial studies, mathematical modelling, Chemical analysis, Remote Sensing and GIS software’s and data interpretation.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.31000 per month
3. FIELD CUM LAB ATTENDANT
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Graduate degree in relevant disciplines.
Desirable: Working experience in Sikkim Himalaya.
Age Limit: Maximum 50 years
Consolidated Pay: Rs.18000 per month
