The vacancies are in different Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) funded projects at Division of Genetics, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi. The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis initially for a period up to 31-03-2021, which may be extended periodically subject to performance of the candidate till the termination of the project. 1. RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Life Sciences.
OR
Having 03 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after M.Tech (Life Sciences)/ with at least One research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.
Desirable: Experience in molecular markers, field phenotyping and handling rice crop.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.47000 per month
2. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Post graduate degree in basic science (Life Sciences) or graduate/ post graduate degree in professional courses (Life Sciences including Agricultural Sciences) selected through a process described through any one of the following:-
i) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
ii) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE. DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR. IIT, IISc, IISER etc.

i) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
