BIDHAN CHANDRA KRISHI VISWAVIDYALAYA WILL CONDUCT WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR 06 POSTS OF SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (SRF) AND JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF). WALK-IN DATE — 27/06/2019
1. SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (SRF)
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Masters’ Degree in Agricultural Meteorology/ Meteorology/ Atmospherics Science/ Environmental Science/ Physics/ Agricultural Physics with at least OGPA 2.75 in 4.00 scale or 6.75 in 10.00 scale or at least 60% marks in aggregate followed by 04 years in Bachelor degree in Agricultural Science/ 03 years B.Sc.(Hons.) in Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics.
Experience: Knowledge in handling large volume meteorological data/ computer programming in R or Knowledge in establishing linkage between global scale information to local scale.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.27,500/- per month.
2. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Four years Bachelor degree in Agricultural Science with Agro Meteorlogy as advanced subject and securing at least OGPA 2.75 in 4.00 scale or 6.75 in 10.00 scale or at least 60% marks in aggregate.
Experience: Knowledge in handling large volume meteorological data with special focus on PET and rainfall data using R package.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 15,000/- per month.
3. SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (SRF)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc.(Ag.) in Agril. Entomology/ M.Sc. in Zoology with atleast 65%/ 60% marks in aggregate or OGPA 2.75 in 4.00/ 6.75 in 10.00 scale followed by good academic carriers and knowledge in Computer Application.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 12,000/- per month.
The vacancies are for different projects. The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis for a period of Four and half months/ Two years.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Personal Interview.
