Tea Board of India, Darjeeling Tea Research & Development Centre is recruiting eligible candidates for 01 post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/ Junior Research Fellow (JRF). The vacancy is under NTRF funded “Tea Genome Sequencing Project” in Darjeeling Tea Research & Development Centre, Kurseong. The candidate will be appointed purely on Temporary basis initially for a period of One year, which may be extended based on performance of the candidate. SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (SRF)/ JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)

No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.

 

Educational Qualification:

i) For Senior Research Fellow (SRF):- M.Sc. in Life Science/ Agriculture/ Biotechnology/ Plant Breeding and Genetics/ Molecular Biology/ any other relevant subject with 02 years experience of research in tea.

ii) For Junior Research Fellow (JRF):- M.Sc. in Life Science/ Agriculture/ Biotechnology/ Plant Breeding and Genetics/ any other relevant subject. Candidates with NET qualification will be preferred.

 

Age Limit: Maximum 32 years for SRF and Maximum 28 years for JRF as on 01.01.2019.

 

Consolidated Pay: Rs. 28,000/- for SRF & Rs.25,000/- (for NET qualified candidate) or Rs. 22,000/- (for Non-NET qualified candidate) for JRF per month.

 

The vacancy is under NTRF funded “Tea Genome Sequencing Project” in Darjeeling Tea Research & Development Centre, Kurseong. The candidate will be appointed purely on Temporary basis initially for a period of One year, which may be extended based on performance of the candidate.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview.
