ICMR- National Institute of Occupational Health (NIOH) is recruiting eligible candidates for 08 posts of Research Associate, Senior Research Fellow, Laboratory Attendant, Junior Research Fellow and Data Entry Operator. The vacancies are under different time bound Research Projects at ICMR- National Institute of Occupational Health (NIOH), Ahmedabad. The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis initially for Six (06) months or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier. The tenure is extendable based on performance of the candidate. 1. RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: Ph.D in (Chemistry/ Entomology/ Forensic Science/ Environmental Science).
OR
M.Sc degree in Chemistry/ Entomology/ Forensic Science/ Environmental Science having 1st Division or 60 % marks or equivalent grade, with at least 02 years of research experience.
Desirable: i) Published research papers.
ii) Experience in ISO/IEC 17025:2005 or 17025:2017 (NABL).
iii) Working knowledge of Computer.
iv) Experience in pesticide residue analysis in biological and environmental samples.
v) Handling sophisticated Analytical instruments viz., GC, HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 17/09/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 24,000/- (for Ph.D holders) or Rs. 23,000/- (for M.Sc holders) per month.
2. SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (SC-01, EWS-01)
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Science (Chemistry/ Environmental Science/ Forensic Science/ Entomology) with NET.
Desirable: i) Published research papers.
ii) Experience in ISO/IEC 17025:2005 or 17025:2017 (NABL).
iii) Working knowledge of Computer.
iv) Experience in pesticide residue analysis in biological and environmental samples.
v) Handling sophisticated Analytical instruments viz., GC, HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 17/09/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 25,000/- per month.
3. LABORATORY ATTENDANT
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: High School or equivalent.
Desirable: Experience in chemical and analytical laboratory.
Age Limit: Maximum 25 years as on 17/09/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 10,500/- per month.
4. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in (Chemistry/ Entomology/ Forensic Science/ Environmental Science) with any one of the following:-
i) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC, NET, including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
ii) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS. DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IIsc, IISER, etc.
Desirable: i) Experience in ISO/IEC 17025:2005 or 17025:2017 (NABL).
ii) Experience in pesticide residue analysis in biological and environmental samples.
iii) Handling sophisticated Analytical instruments viz., GC, HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS.
iv) Working knowledge of Computer.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 17/09/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 25,000/- per month.
5. DATA ENTRY OPERATOR
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (SC)
Educational Qualification: Intermediate or 12th pass from recognized Board.
Experience: Experience in MS Office, SPSS and management of data generated in laboratories.
Age Limit: Maximum 25 years as on 17/09/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 17,000/- per month.
6. LABORATORY ATTENDANT
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (OBC)
Educational Qualification: High School or equivalent.
Desirable: Experience in chemical and analytical laboratory.
Age Limit: Maximum 25 years as on 17/09/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 15,800/- per month.
