Indian Institute of Food Processing Technology (IIFPT) invites online application for 20 posts of Adjunct Faculty, Senior Research Fellow, Junior Research Fellow, Project Assistant (PA) and Young Professional-II. The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis initially for a period of Six (06) months and extendable every six (06) months based on the satisfactory performance of the candidates and requirement. 1. ADJUNCT FACULTY

No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.

Educational Qualification: M.Tech./ M.Sc./ Ph.D. with specialization in Post-Harvest Technology/ Food Technology/ Food Engineering/ Food science/ Food science and Technology/ Food science and Nutrition or Agricultural Engineering/ Biotechnology/ Chemical Engineering specialized in Food Process Engineering.

Consolidated Pay: Rs.80000 per month

 

2. ADJUNCT FACULTY

Educational Qualification: M.Tech./ M.Sc./ MCA/ Ph.D. with specialization in Computer Science/ Computer Science and Engineering/ Software Engineering

4. SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (DIRECTOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANT)

6. SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW

10. PROJECT ASSISTANT (INCUBATION CENTRE)

Educational Qualification: B.Tech or B.Sc. (04 years’ program) in Food Process Engineering/ Food Technology/ Agricultural Engineering/ Food Science/ Food Science and Nutrition.
OR
M.Sc. in the above related disciplines.

11. PROJECT ASSISTANT

No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.

Educational Qualification: B.Tech. in Food Process Engineering/ Food Science & Technology/ Food Technology/ Chemical Engineering.

Age Limit: Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women

Consolidated Pay: Rs.12000 per month

 

12. YOUNG PROFESSIONAL-II

No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.

Educational Qualification: i) Master degree in Food Engineering/ Food Science & technology/ Food Technology/ Food Process Engineering/ Post Harvest Management/ Food Science & Nutrition.
ii) Master degree in the above subjects- Candidates having bachelor’s degree in Basic Sciences (03 years) plus Masters (02 years) in above mentioned subjects.
ii) Preference will be given to candidates having proficiency in Punjabi and Hindi language.

Age Limit: Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women

Consolidated Pay: Rs.25000 per month

 

The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis initially for a period of Six (06) months and extendable every six (06) months based on the satisfactory performance of the candidates and requirement.

The candidates will be posted at Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu except the post of Young Professional at Sl. No 12 is at Liaison Office-Bathinda, Punjab.
