The vacancies are in DHR-ICMR funded project entitled “Establishment of a Network of Laboratories for Managing Epidemics and Natural Calamities” (VRDL) Project in Department of Microbiology, R.G. Kar Medical College. The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis initially for One year and renewable for subsequent year based on the performance of the candidate. 1. RESEARCH SCIENTIST-I (MEDICAL)

No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.

Educational Qualification: MBBS/ BDS/ B.V.Sc & AH OR BDS/ B.V.Sc degree with one year experience.

Note:-
i) MD or M.V.Sc degree in relavent subjects will be treated equivalent to 03 years experience respectively.
ii) Candidates with MD/ MDS/ M.V.Sc degree will be preferred.

Desirable: i) MD in the related subject from a recognized University for candidates with 1st class relevant degree.
ii) Additional Post doctoral research/ training experience in relevant subjects in recognized Institute.
iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools/ Data Management.
iv) Two years R&D/ Teaching experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualification.

Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on 23/09/2019.

Consolidated Pay: Rs.65000 per month.

 

2. RESEARCH SCIENTIST-I (NON-MEDICAL)

No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.

Educational Qualification: BE/ B.Tech degree in relevant Engineering subject with 02 years experience or equivalent degree from a recognized University.
OR
1st class Master’s degree in relevant subject from a recognized University.
OR
2nd class M.Sc plus Ph.D degree in relevant subject from a recongized University.

Note:-
i) Ph.D degree in relevant subjects will be treated equivalent to 03 years experience
ii) Candidates with PhD or M.Tech degree will be preferred.

Desirable: i) Doctorate or M.Tech degree in relevant subject or engineering subject from a recognized University for candidates with 1st class relevant degree.
ii) Additional Post doctoral research/ training experience in relevant subjects in recognized Institute.
iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools/ Data Management.
iv) Two years R&D/ Teaching experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualification.

Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on 23/09/2019.

Consolidated Pay: Rs.60000 per month.

 

3. RESEARCH ASSISTANT

No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.

Educational Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Microbiology or Biotechnology from recognized University.

Desirable: i) Preference will be given to the candidate having experience in ICMR/ DHR/ IDSP/ CSIR/ DBT/ any other project Medical College/ Govt. Institute.
ii) Knowledge of Computer Application/ Data Management.

Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on 23/09/2019.

Consolidated Pay: Rs.30000 per month.

 

4. LAB TECHNICIAN

No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.

Educational Qualification: B.Sc/ Intermediate with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or High School with 05 years Lab experience.

Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Application/ Data Management.

Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on 23/09/2019.

Consolidated Pay: Rs.25000 per month.
