RRC ECR Recruitment 2023-24 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:– As per the official notification candidates must have passed 12th (+2stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate from a recognized Board. 50% marks are not required for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates or where the candidates possess higher qualifications i.e. Graduation/ Post Graduation etc from a Recognized University.
Note:-Persons if appointed to the category of Clerk-cum-Typist should acquire a Typing proficiency of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi within two years from the date of appointment and till such time their appointments to this category will be provisional.
10th pass Plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/ ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT for Technician Grade-III in Level 2 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC. No other qualification including a Diploma in Engineering will be accepted as an alternative qualification. And Possession of a degree/diploma/certificate in the concerned discipline from Government government-recognized Institute.
Desirable Qualification:
(1) Experience in the field and performance given on AIR/Doordarshan etc.
(2) Prizes won at the National Level.
Age Limit:Â Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years.
RRC ECR Cultural Quota Recruitment 2024 Selection Process:Â
Selection of candidates will be through Cultural Quota followed by Certificate Verification.

RRC ECR Recruitment 2023-24 Examination Fee:Â
Candidates must pay Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen, Women, Minorities & Economic Backward Classes) as Examination Fee.
RRC ECR Recruitment 2023 How to Apply:Â
(1) The given format should be neatly typed or handwritten either in English or Hindi on an A-4 size paper and should be filled in your handwriting. One recent passport-size photograph duly signed is to be pasted on the application form.
(2) Candidates should send the application along with necessary certificates/documents to the General Manager (Personnel), Recruitment Section, E.C.Railway Headquarters Office, Haiipur, Distt.- Vaishali. Bihar. P1N-844101 by ordinary post to reach on or before the last date mentioned above. The candidate may also drop the application in the drop-box provided for the purpose in the above-mentioned office up to 18.00 Hrs. on or before the last date. No acknowledgment of the application will be given. Applications from other sources will not be accepted. Neither application will be accepted after the closing date in any circumstance, nor enclosure will be received separately after the receipt of an application for attachment with the application.
