Northern Railway Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification:-
a) Candidates must have a 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate.

b) (i) For Drama Artist – Candidate should possess a Degree/Diploma/ Certificate in Drama from Govt. a recognized institute.

(ii) For Classical Singer (Male/Female) – Candidate must have a Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Hindustani vocal music from government-recognized institutes.

Desirable Qualification:- (i) Field experience and performance in AIR/Doordarshan etc.
(ii) Award won at the national level.

Age Limit:- The candidate’s minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 30 years.

Upper Age Relaxation:- The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC, and 10 years for the PWD category.

RRC Northern Railway Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates should bring all documents including one set of self-attested photocopies (birth matriculation or equivalent certificate, educational qualification, cultural qualification, caste certificate, etc.) along with an uploaded online application form on the day of document verification. Without which they will not be allowed to appear in the election. Self-attested translation in English/Hindi along with a certificate in a language other than English or Hindi.

Shortlisted eligible candidates may have to stay more than 1 day for the venue of the written test, practical demonstration, and document verification for the selection procedure for which they have to make their own arrangements.

RRC NR Recruitment 2024 Medical Examination

Candidates recommended for recruitment must pass the required medical fitness standards prescribed for the post as identified by the Northern Railway Administration.

RRC NR Recruitment 2024 How to Apply

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of the Railway Recruitment Cell, Northern Railway (RRC NR).

Candidates have to apply online only through the www.rrcnr.org. website.

The applicant must upload the following along with the online application:-

a. proof of the candidate’s date of birth (10th or matric pass certificate).
b. Proof of educational and cultural qualifications required for the post.
c. In case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Minority/Economically Backward/PWD/NOC etc Certificate in the prescribed format as per Annexure available on the RRC website i.e. www.rrcnr.org.

After submitting the online application form, the system-generated registration/acknowledgment slip will be displayed on the computer screen. Candidates must print out it for future correspondence. All verifications will be completed on time.
