RRC SER Kolkata Apprentice Selection Process 2023
The selection process will be based on a merit list compiled from all candidates applying for the respective trades outlined in the notification. In each trade, the merit list will be generated based on the percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation, with a weightage of 50%. To calculate this percentage, the marks attained by candidates in all subjects of Matriculation will be considered, rather than focusing on specific subjects or groups.
Candidates shortlisted in their respective trades will undergo document verification, and the number of candidates called for this process will be 1.5 times the notified vacancies. A final merit list, organized by trade and community, will be generated in descending order of the percentage of marks obtained, following the criteria mentioned earlier.
Those candidates who successfully make it to the final merit list will be offered stipends at the prescribed rate as per the provided provisions.
RRC SER Kolkata Apprentice Documents Required for DV 2023
You are required to bring the printout of the online application form along with the following original documents for the verification process:
1. Original certificate verifying your Date of Birth.
2. Original Matriculation certificate along with the statement of marks.
3. Valid certificate indicating the successful completion of ITI training in the relevant trade.
4. Original community certificate (OBC/SC/ST) in the specified format mentioned in the Notification.
5. Original certificate, adhering to the given format in the Notification, if you fall under the category of Person With Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), according to the types specified.
6. Proof of being an Ex-Serviceman (ESM), if applicable, supported by the original certificate.
7. One set of self-attested copies of all the documents above, certificates, and testimonials. 8. Three recent passport-sized photographs as per the specifications provided/uploaded in the online application.
9. Medical Fitness Certificate, signed by a Government Doctor (Gaz), not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon from a Central/State Hospital, following the prescribed Medical Proforma attached with the Call Letter.
10. COVID-19 Self-Declaration Form.
