SAIL, Bhilai Steel Plant- 15 persons with disabilities as Attendant-cum-Technician/ Jr.Staff Assistant (Trainee)

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is recruiting 15 persons for Bhilai Steel Plant for the post of “Attendant-cum- Jr. Staff Assistant (Trainee)” and “Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee)” through Special Recruitment Drive for PWD in SAIL- Bhilai Steel Plant, i.e. only Persons with Disabilities may apply for the post. Details below—

1. Attendant-cum- Jr. Staff Assistant (Trainee)
Vacancies: 5 Nos. (For visually handicapped persons (Low vision)
Qualification: Higher Secondary with working knowledge of computer, esp. M.S. Office. Preference will be given to the candidates who have done Graduation or Post Graduates in any subject and to those who have knowledge of Stenography.
Age:  between 18yrs to 38yrs as on 1/1/2012.
Training period will be of 2years. Stipend during first year—Rs.6600 per month and Stipend during second year—Rs. 7700
Both male and female can apply for the post.

2. Attendant –cum- Technician (Trainee)
Vacancies: 10 Nos. (Orthopaedically Handicapped—5; Hearing Handicapped—5)
Qualification: Madhyamik candidates with ITI in any one of the following trades— Fitter, Welder, Electrician, Mason, Turner, Diesel Mechanic and Motor Vehicle Mechanic.
Preference will be given to the candidates who have done apprenticeship training preferably in steel industry.
Age: between 18yrs to 38yrs as on 1/1/2012
Training will be of 2 years. Stipend during first year— Rs.6600 per month and Rs.7700 per month in second year.
Both male and female candidates may apply for the post.

Age relaxation for OBC (PH) candidates- 3yrs and SC/ST (PH) candidates- 5yrs.

Candidates will be selected through Written Test and Interview. Date and venue of examination will be informed to the candidates at the later stage.
Along with application form, candidates should enclosed all the documents in attested or self-attested copies such as- Qualification certificate, caste certificate, Disability certificate, age proof certificate (Madhyamik certificate can be given for proof) and etc.
