SAIL- BHILAI STEEL PLANT INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 11 POSTS OF FIREMAN CUM FIRE ENGINE DRIVER (TRAINEE). LAST DATE — 09/11/2015
1. Fireman cum Fire Engine Driver (Trainee): 11 Nos. (UR-06; SC-02; ST-03) (Out of them 01 post reserved for Ex-Servicemen)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation with valid Driving License for Heavy Motor Vehicles.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 yrs. & Maximum 28 yrs as on 09/11/2015
Pay Scale: Rs.15830/- – Rs.22150/- + Grade pay & other allowances as per norms.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST,& as per Govt. norms for Ex-Servicemen & others
PHYSICAL STANDARDS:
Male Candidates: Height – 165 cms; Weight – 50 Kg; Chest (Unexpanded/ expanded) – 81cms/ 86.5cms; Eye Sight – 6/6 without glasses; Color Vision – Normal.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Physical Ability Test cum Driving Test and Interview. Written test will be of Objective type. Candidates qualifying this test will be further called for PAT cum Driving test and Interview.
Selected candidates will be placed on training for a minimum period of two years which can be extended by another two years as per requirement. During training period, stipend of Rs.8600/- per month will be paid to the candidates.
After successful completion of training, candidates shall be placed under probation for one year.
