SAIL — Bhilai Steel Plant is inviting Online application from young, energetic and positive minded candidates for the post of – Mining Foreman, Mining Mate and Blaster for its mines. Total vacancies – 10 Nos. Interested candidates may apply on prescribed application format within below scheduled date. Advt. No. BSP-81 (Rectt.)/13-14. Qualification and eligibility criteria in brief is given below —
1. Mining Foreman: 3 Nos. (General)
Qualification: Matriculation and diploma in Mining along with Mining Foreman’s Certificate of competency with at least one year post qualification experience in Open Cast Mines in the capacity of Mines Foreman.
2. Mining Mate: 5 Nos. (Gen—4; ST—1)
Qualification: Matriculation along with Mining Mate’s certificate of competency from the competent authority and with at least one year post qualification experience in Open Cast Mines in the capacity of Mining Mate.
3. Blaster: 2 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Matriculation with valid Blaster’s certificate or valid Mining Mate certificate of competency from the competent authority and with atleast one year post qualification experience including experience of deep hole blasting in Open Cast Mines.
Candidates must meet the following physical standard (applicable to all posts) —
Height: 155 cms
Weight: 45 Kgs
Chest (unexpanded/ expanded): 75/ 79 cms
Eye sight: 6/9 without glasses. Color vision must be normal.
Selection Steps: Candidates will be required to appear in written examination. On the basis of their performance in the Written Test, they will be called for Interview. Exact date and venue of interview will be intimated in due course and will be provided in the official website of SAIL — www.sail.co.in

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs.150/- for the post of Mining Mate and Blaster And Rs.250/– for the post of Mining Foreman. The fee amount includes processing fee. The fee is to be paid by means of Pay in Slip (SBI Fee Challan) through any branch of State Bank of India at the specially opened Account No. 32549519300 at Sector-1 Branch, Bhilai, on behalf of BSP, SAIL. SC/ST candidates are required to pay only Rs.50/- as processing fee through the fee payment challan.
Candidates will require to upload the scan copy of passport size image and signature during the application process.
After applying Online, the candidate is required to download the system generated Registration Slip for future references. There is no need to send any hard copy application or testimonials to SAIL.
Admit card to the eligible candidates will be issued through emails only, at the email id provided by the candidates during online registration, as well as Admit card can be also downloaded from the SAIL’s website in due course. Exact date and venue of written test/ interview will be confirmed in Admit card.
