Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) — Chandrapur Ferro Alloy plant (CFP) is inviting Online Application for 70 Nos. Operator cum Technician – Trainee and Attendant cum Technician-Trainee. SAIL – CHANDRAPUR FERRO ALLOY PLANT REQUIRES 70 OPERATOR-CUM-TECHNICIAN TRAINEE AND ATTENDANT-CUM-TECHNICIAN TRAINEE. LAST DATE — 26/10/2014.
1. Operator cum Technician—Trainee: 25 Posts.
Discipline wise vacancies are as follows—
(i) Mechanical: 7 Nos. (ST—1; OBC—2 & Gen—4). Out of total 1 post for PWD.
(ii) Metallurgy: 8 Nos. (SC—1; ST—1; OBC—2 & Gen—4)
(iii) Electrical: 5 Nos. (OBC—2 & Gen—3)
(iv) Instrumentation: 2 Nos. (SC—1 & Gen—1)
(v) Chemical: 3 Nos. (Gen—3)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass and 3 Years (full time) Diploma in Engineering (in Mechanical/ Metallurgy / Electrical / instrumentation/ Chemical) from a Govt. recognized institute.
Pay Scale: Candidates will be paid of Rs.10700/-PM (First year) & Rs.12200/- PM (Second Year) during training period and on completion of training Rs.16800/- to Rs.24110/-PM plus other allowances will be paid.
2. Attendant cum Technician—Trainee: 45 Posts.
Discipline wise vacancies are as follows—
(i) Welder: 7 Nos. (SC—1; OBC—3 & Gen—3)
(ii) Turner: 7 Nos. (SC—1; ST—1; OBC—1 & Gen—4)
(iii) Fitter: 16 Nos. (SC—1; ST—2; OBC—5 & Gen—8). Out of total 1 post for PWD.
(iv) Electrician: 10 Nos. (SC—1; OBC—2 & Gen—7)
(v) Motor Vehicle Mech.: 5 Nos. (ST—1; OBC—2 & Gen—2)
Educational Qualification: 12th with ITI pass (full time) from a Govt. recognized institute (in relevant trades – Welder / Turner / Fitter / Electrician/ Motor vehicle mechanic).
Pay Scale: Candidates will be paid of Rs.8600/-PM (First year) & Rs.10000/- PM (Second Year) in during training period and on completion of training Rs.15830/- to Rs.22150/-PM plus other allowances.
Age Limit (For Both Trades): Minimum 18 years & maximum 28 years as on 1st September 2014. The upper age limit relaxation for SC/ST—5 yrs, OBC—3 yrs and Ex-Serviceman/others as per Govt. norms.
Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.250/-(Gen/OBC) for Operator cum Technician Trainee and Rs.150/- (Gen/OBC) for Attendant cum Technician Trainee.
Candidates may pay their Application Fee through Online Mode by using their Credit/Debit Card or Net banking.
No Application Fee for SC/ ST/PWD candidates.
Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Physical Standard Test (wherever applicable) and Interview. Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination will be intimated in due course.
Physical Standard:-
For Both Trades: (i) Height : 150cms (ii) Weight: 45kg, (iii) Eye Vision: 6/9 both eyes with or without glasses.
