Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is recruiting 18 persons for the post of “Junior Nursing Sister (Trainee)” and “Junior Medical Technologist (Trainee)” for Bhilai Steel Plant. Bachelor degree candidates with below mentioned criteria may apply. Details below—
1. Jr. Nursing Sister (Trainee): 13 Nos. (Gen-7; SC-1; ST-4; Ex-Serviceman- 1)
Qualification: B.Sc in Nursing or Higher Secondary with Diploma of 3 years of course in General Nursing and Midwifery. Should have valid registration in Nursing Council of State/ India. One year post qualification experience in a Hospital or Nursing home is required.
Age: between 18yrs to 28yrs as on 1/12/2011
Training will be provided which will be of 2yrs. Stipend of Rs.8500 per month will be given on first year and Rs.9350 in second year.
Both male and female can apply for the post.
2. Jr. Medical Technologist (Trainee): 5 Nos.
Vacancies and qualification as per discipline wise—
Radiology: 2 Nos. – B.Sc in Radiology or Higher Secondary with diploma of 2yrs duration course in Radiography and with 1 year post qualification experience in hospital.
Audiometry: 1 Nos. – Bachelor degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology and with 1 year post qualification experience in any Hospital/ Nursing home.
Dental: 1 Nos. – B.Sc in Dentistry or diploma course of Dental Technician and with 1 year post qualification experience in any Hospital/Nursing home
Radio Therapy: 1 Nos. – Higher Secondary in Science candidates with Radiotherapy Technician course (full time) plus one year post qualification experience in a Hospital.
Age: between 18yrs to 28yrs as on 1st December 2011.
Training period will be of 2yrs and stipend of Rs.8250 per month will be given on first year and Rs.9350 on second year.

Age relaxation: OBC- 3yrs, SC/ST-5yrs and Ex-serviceman—as per govt. norms.
Selection steps: Candidates will be selected on basis of Written Test and Interview. Date and venue of written examination will be informed later.
