Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Central Marketing Organization (CMO), Kolkata, is recruiting 86 Junior Assistant (Trainee) for its offices in various locations across the country. Employment Notice No. SAIL / CMO / JA (T) / 2013/2. Interested and eligible candidates may submit their Application form through online system from the official site of SAIL. Educational qualification and brief details are given below —

JUNIOR ASSISTANT (TRAINEE) 
Number of Vacancies: 86 Nos. (Gen—43; SC—13; ST—7; OBC—23). Reservation for Ex-Servicemen and PWD candidates are as per norms.

Educational Qualification: Graduation (full time degree course) in any discipline with minimum 55% marks (45% for SC / ST / PWD Candidates) &  Diploma in Computer Application of minimum 1 year duration course with proficiency in MS Office Package

Candidates must have minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute (30 wpm for reserved categories) in English on computer.

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18yrs to 28yrs as on 01/11/2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Consolidated Pay: During the training period of 02 years, Rs.10700/- and Rs.12200/- per month will be paid in first year and second year respectively.
On successful completion of training period, the candidates will be absorbed in pay scale of Rs.9160—Rs.13150 with a minimum basic pay of Rs.9160/- per month plus other allowances as per norms.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test which will be Multiple Choice Question on General Awareness, English, Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning.
The qualified candidates from written test will be then called for Computer Skill Test on MS Office package and Computer Typing Test in English.
Finally the shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview.

Written Test will be held in New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai whereas Computer skill and typing test/ Interview will be at Kolkata.

Application Fee: Candidates willing to apply for the vacancies must pay Application Fee of Rs.250/- through any branches of State Bank of India in cash by means of fee payment challan which can be downloaded from the SAIL’s website (See url below)
SC/ST/PWD candidates are required to Rs.50/- only as Application Fee. 
All candidates must pay Rs.20/- additionally as bank charge. State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the application fee / processing charges in a specially opened account (No. 32036360352) in SBI, CAG Branch, Kolkata, on behalf of SAIL.
