SAIL Operator Recruitment 2024 Application Fees 

The application fees vary based on the candidate’s category. General/OBC/EWS candidates are required to pay Rs. 500/-, while SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/Departmental candidates need to pay Rs. 200/-. Fees are to be paid online at the time of submitting the application through Net Banking / Credit Card / ATM-cum-Debit Card; no other payment modes are accepted.

SAIL Technician Recruitment 2024  Selection Process

The selection process for the mentioned posts involves a Computer Test (CBT) comprising 100 objective-type questions, split into segments covering Domain Knowledge and Aptitude Tests. Candidates meeting the minimum qualifying marks in the CBT proceed to a skill test. For each post/discipline, candidates are shortlisted in a 1:3 ratio for the skill test. Final selection is based solely on CBT performance, with higher marks determining offer letters. In case of a tie, preference is given to candidates with higher marks in eligibility qualifications. A discipline-wise panel is created for potential future vacancies. Application and processing fees differ for General/OBC/EWS and SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/Departmental candidates, payable online only.
