MANAGER (PROJECTS)
Number of Vacancies: 15 Nos. (Gen—8; SC—2; ST—1; OBC—4)
Qualification: Engineering Degree in Mechanical/ Mineral Dressing/ Civil/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Automation from AICTE approved college or recognized University/ Institution
Post Qualification Experience: Minimum 10yrs in executive cadre in a Public Limited Company out of which minimum 4 years of experience in various facets of Project Implementation and Project Management in the Manufacturing/ Process/ Mining/ Infrastructure Industry.
Medical Standards (minimum required) should be as follows —
Weight: 45 kg (35 kg for females); Height: 155 cm (143 cm for females); Distant vision: 6/9 both eyes with or without glasses; Near vision: J1 both eyes with or without glasses; Power of glasses should not exceed ± 4.0; Colour vision – essential, Hearing: Normal.

PARA MEDICAL TRAINEE
Number of Vacancies: 23 Nos.
Discipline wise number of vacancies and Qualification —
1. Pharmacist Trainee: 06 Nos. (Gen—5; ST—2)
Qualification: Degree in Pharmacy or 10+2 with Diploma in Pharmacy of minimum 2 years duration and registered with Indian/ State Pharmacy Council
2. X-Ray Tech. Trainee: 2 Nos. (Gen—1; ST—1)
Qualification: B.Sc in Radiography from Govt. recognized Institute or Higher Secondary/10+2 in Science with Diploma of minimum 2 years duration in Radiography
3. Nursing Sister Trainee: 8 Nos. (Gen—3; SC—2; ST—1; OBC—2)
Qualification: B.Sc or Diploma of 3yrs duration in General Nursing and Midwifery after Higher Secondary/ 10+2 Science. Candidates must have valid registration in Nursing Council of India/ State Nursing Council.
4. Laboratory Tech. Trainee: 2 Nos. (Gen—2)
Qualification: B.Sc (Medical Lab Technology) or 10+2 in Science with Diploma of minimum 2 years duration in Medical Lab Technology
5. Anaes. Asst. Trainee: 1 Nos. (SC—1)
Qualification: Higher Secondary / 10+2 in Science with Diploma of minimum 1 year duration in OT Technician Course
6. Dental (Hygiene) Trainee: 1 Nos. (ST—1)
Qualification: B.Sc in Dentistry or Diploma course of Dental Laboratory Technology
7. ECG Tech. Trainee: 2 Nos. (ST—1; Gen—1)
Qualification: B.Sc with Diploma in ECG Technician course.
8. OCC Health Tech. Trainee: 1 Nos. (ST—1)
Qualification: Higher Secondary/ 10+2 in Science with Degree in Occupational Hygiene
Post Qualification Experience (for all Para-Medical Personnel): Minimum one year in hospital/ nursing home.
Age: minimum 18yrs and maximum 28yrs as on 01/12/2013.
Upper age relaxation (all above said vacancies): Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination. Candidates short listed on the basis of their performance in the Written Test will be required to appear in the Interview. Date, Time & Place of the Written Test and Interview will be intimated to eligible / shortlisted candidates through e-mail / SAIL website www.sail.co.in.
Written Test shall be conducted at — 1.Rourkela, 2. Bhubaneswar, 3. Ranchi, 5.Kolkata and 4. Jamshedpur.
How to Apply: Eligible and interested candidates would be required to apply online only through SAIL’s website www.sail.co.in (See the Live URL given below).
Candidates will require to upload scan copy of passport size image and signature during online form submission as well as will have to pay Application Fee as prescribed below.
After applying online, the candidate is required to download the system generated Registration Slip with unique registration number and other essential details and retain a copy of the same. Candidates are not required to send any document to Raw Materials Division at this stage.
Application Fee:
(i) Rs.250/- for the above paramedical posts as Application and Processing fee for General/OBC candidates. For SC/ST candidates — Rs.50/- only as Processing fee.
(ii) Rs.500/- for the post of Manager [Projects] for General and OBC candidates. Rs.100/- for SC/ST candidates.
Fee is to be paid by means of Pay in Slip through any branches of SBI. The Pay in Slip (SBI Challan)is to be downloaded from the website after filling in the required details.
