W.B. Government’s — District Project Office- for Sarva Shiksha Mission, Jalpaiguri, is recruiting 20 persons for the post of “Additional Assistant Engineer” and “Additional Field Junior Engineer”. The appointment will be on contract basis for period of Nine months. Interested and eligible candidates may appear for Walk-in-Interview. Eligibility and conditions are given below—
1. Additional Assistant Engineer: 2 Nos.
Qualification: Candidates must have done Degree in Civil Engineering from any recognised University as well as should have specialization in Construction/ building management.
Candidates must have computer knowledge.
Age: As per Govt. norms (within 35 yrs as on 1/1/2012)
Salary: Rs.26703 per month
2. Additional Field Junior Engineer (Circle level): 18 Nos.

2. Rajganj Block : 1 Nos.
3. Maynaguri Block : 3 Nos.
4. Mal Block : 1 Nos.
5. Matelli Block : 1 Nos.

8. Alipurduar- I : 2 Nos.
9. Alipurduar-Ii : 2 Nos.
10. Dhupguri : 2 Nos.
11. Kumargram Block : 1 Nos.
Age: As per govt. norms. (within 35yrs as on 1/1/2012.
Salary: Rs.16076 per month.
Selection Process: Interested candidates have to attend the Walk-in-Interview along with duly attested copies of Qualification Certificates/ Marksheets, Age proof, Experience certificate (if any) and any other relevant documents in support of eligibility.
Documents should be attested by competent authority. Candidates should also bring the Original documents along with address for communication, with them for verification.
The appointment will be on contractual basis for a period of 9 months (i.e. upto 31st March 2013).
