Saurashtra Gramin Bank (SGB) is inviting online Application form for the posts of 83 Officer Scale-I and Office Assistant (Multipurpose). Application form can be submitted online from the official website of the bank. Candidates who have appeared at the Common Written Examination (CWE) for RRBs conducted by IBPS in the month of September, 2012 and have declared qualified are eligible to apply. Brief details is given below —
1. Officer Scale-I: 41 Nos. (Gen—23; SC—8; ST—2; OBC—8)
Qualification: Degree in any discipline and proficiency in the Official Language of Gujarat State and must have passed Gujarati as one of the subjects atleast at Matriculation level.
2. Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 42 Nos. (Gen—22; SC—4; ST—5; OBC—11). Out of total 6 Nos. is reserved for Ex-servicemen.
Qualification: Degree in any discipline and proficiency in the Official Language of Gujarat State and must have passed Gujarati as one of the subjects atleast at Matriculation level.
Essential Requirement: Beside above mentioned educational qualification, candidates must have appeared and qualified the Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012.

Scale of Pay —
For Officer Scale – I : Rs.14500 – 25700 plus other allowances as per norms.
For Office Assistant(Multipurpose) : Rs.7200– 19300 plus other allowances as per norms.
Age (As on 01-06-2012)
For Officer Scale- I: Above 18 years – Below 28 years
For Office Assistant: Between 18 years and 28 years
Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRBs- Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview
The Interview will be held at Rajkot centre and the address of the venue will be advised in the call letters. The address of the venues will also be displayed in the Bank’s website one week before the dates for commencement of Interviews.
Selected candidates for the post will be on probation for period of one year from the date of joining the bank.
Application Fee —
Rs.100/- (Rs.20 for SC/ST/PWD candidates). Application Fee is to be deposited through any branches of Saurashtra Gramin Bank, by means of a Payment challan available in the Bank’s website.
How to Apply: Candidates are required to apply online through Bank’s website www.sgbrrb.org between 06-08-2013 and 20-08-2013. No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.
Before applying online, candidates must print-out the fee payment challan and shall deposit the prescribed Application Fee through any branches of the Saurashtra Gramin Bank.
After depositing the prescribed fee, revisit the bank’s website and proceed to fill the online application.
During Online form submission, candidates will require to upload their scan copy of passport size photo and signature.
After final submission of the application, the system generated Registration Slip with unique Registration Number will appear on the computer screen. Print-out the Registration Slip and retain safely for future correspondence.
There is no need to send any document to the bank. All verification of the documents will be done at the time of Interview, if called.
