State Bank of India (SBI) is recruiting 6425 “Clerical Cadre” for its Associate Bank viz. – State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Patiala, State Bank of Travancore, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur and State Bank of Hyderabad. STATE BANK OF INDIA INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 6425 CLERICAL CADRE POSTS FOR ITS ASSOCIATE BANKS. LAST DATE – 09/12/2014.

 

Number of vacancies as per Bank wise —

1. State Bank of Mysore: 725 Nos.
2. State Bank of Patiala: 1200 Nos.
3. State Bank of Travancore: 1300 Nos.
4. State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur: 1000 Nos.
5. State Bank of Hyderabad: 2200 Nos.

Candidates can apply for vacancies in one Bank and one State only and will have to appear for the test from an examination centre for that particular State

 

Educational Qualification: Degree (Graduation level) in any discipline or equivalent qualification. Candidates should have proficiency in English (Speaking & writing). Knowledge of local language of the State/UT where vacancies are available will be an added qualification.

 

Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 28yrs as on 01-12-2014, i.e candidates should have born between 01.12.1986 and 01.12.1994 (both days inclusive). Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; Widow/Divorced women/legally separated women – 05yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Domicile of J&K—05yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.7200— Rs.19300. The total starting emoluments of a Clerical Cadre posted at Metro will be around Rs.17500/- per month in all total.

 

Selection of the candidates will be through Online test which will be conducted by State Bank of India and Interview.
The test will be online objective type, consisting of (i) General Awareness (ii) General English (iii)QuantitativeAptitude (iv)ReasoningAbility (v)MarketingAptitude /Computer Knowledge.The questions will be set in English &Hindi.

Candidates qualifying the online test will be called for Interview. The online test may conduct in the month of Jan/Feb, 2015 tentatively.

Application Fee & Intimation Charge: Candidates willing to apply for the vacancies shall pay Application Fee of Rs.600/- in case of General and OBC candidates and Rs.100/- as Intimation charge in case of SC/ST/PWD and Ex-Servicemen.
