Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), Kaiga Site (Karnataka), is recruiting 24 Scientific Assistant/ B (Civil), Stipendiary Trainee Technician (Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical Fitter) and Technician (Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical Fitter). ADVERTISEMENT NO. KAIGA SITE /HRM-02/2013. Application form is to be made on prescribed application format (See below). Qualification norms and brief details is given below —
1. SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT/B (Civil): 4 Nos. (Gen—2; ST—1; OBC—1)
Educational qualification: Diploma or Licentiate with not less than 60% marks in civil Engineering. The Diploma in Engineering or Licentiate should be of three years duration after SSC/SSLC.
Candidates must have had English as one of the subjects at least at Matriculation or HS level.
Experience is desirable.
Age Limit: Between 18yrs to 30yrs
2. Stipendiary Trainee Technician: 14 Nos. Discipline wise —
— Electrical: 2 Nos.
— Electronics: 4 Nos.
— Mechanical Fitter: 8 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation with not less than 50% marks in Science and Mathematics subjects individually + Two years ITI Certificate in the relevant trade.
In case, if the duration of the course is less than 2 years then the candidates should have at least one year relevant working experience after completion of the course.
Candidates must have had English as one of the subjects at Matriculation level. Candidates must meet the following Physical Standards —
(i) Height—160 cms
(ii) Weight — 45.5 kgs.
Age Limit: between 18yrs to 24yrs.
3. Technician/ B: 6 Nos. Discipline wise —
— Electrical: 1 Nos.
— Electronics: 2 Nos.
— Mechanical Fitter: 3 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Class 12 (HSC) with Science and Maths or Matriculation (SSC) with minimum 60% marks + Trade Certificate of 1 year duration is essential.
Candidates must have had English as one of the subjects at Matriculation.
Age Limit: between 18yrs to 25yrs.
Upper age relaxation is as per Govt. norms. Age will be counted as on 01-05-2013.
