12. SCIENTIST ‘B’ (PSYCHOLOGY)
No. of Vacancies: 10 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) At least First Class Master’s Degree in Psychology from a recognized University or equivalent.
ii) Qualified the NET exam for eligibility to Assistant Professorship in Psychology (Subject Code : 04). Candidates due to appear for the NET exam of June 2020 may also apply. For more details please see the Official Advt.

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates who are appearing or have appeared in their final year examination are also eligible to apply.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done based on valid GATE Score/ Marks in NET, Descriptive Examination and Personal Interview wherever applicable. Tentatively, the Descriptive Examination (for the posts at Sl. No. 1 to 3) will be conducted at DRDO centres in seven cities i.e. Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kanpur, Kolkata and Pune as well as at other common centres, if the need arises. The Descriptive Examination is likely to be held in October, 2020. Personal Interview for all the posts to be held at Delhi or any other place as decided by RAC/ DRDO.
