No. of Vacancies: 150 Nos. (UR-53, OBC-47, SC-21, ST-12, EWS-17. Out of the total posts, 11 posts are reserved for PwBD)

i) Mechanical Engineering- 48 posts
ii) Metallurgical Engineering- 25 posts
iii) Civil Engineering- 07 posts
iv) Electrical Engineering- 19 posts
v) Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering- 05 posts
vi) Computer Engineering- 11 posts
vii) Food Technology- 14 posts
viii) Chemical Engineering- 16 posts
ix) Bio-Technology- 01 post
x) Petro-Chemical Engineering- 01 post
xi) Bio-medical Engineering- 03 posts
Educational Qualification: i) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent with not less than 60% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ ST candidates).
ii) Having valid GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) score of 2018/ 2019/ 2020. The GATE score must be valid as on 31/03/2020.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 31/03/2020.
Basic Pay: Rs.87000 per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The selected candidates will be on probation for two (02) years.
Candidates’ Selection: The candidates will be selected based on the valid GATE Score (2018/ 2019/ 2020) and Personal Interview. Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview at New Delhi.

NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ ST/ EX-SERVICEMAN/ PWBD/ WOMEN CANDIDATES.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO BUREAU OF INDIAN STANDARDS (BIS) AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
