1. SCIENTIST/ ENGINEER ‘SC’ (CIVIL)
No. of Vacancies: 09 Nos. (UR-06, SC-01, ST-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Civil Engineering in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 15/01/2019.
Basic Pay: Rs.56100/- per month.
2. SCIENTIST/ ENGINEER ‘SC’ (ELECTRICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 05 Nos. (UR-02, SC-01, ST-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Electrical Engineering OR Electrical and Electronics Engineering in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 15/01/2019.
Basic Pay: Rs.56100/- per month.
3. SCIENTIST/ ENGINEER ‘SC’ (REFRIGERATION & AIR CONDITIONING)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR-01, SC-01)
Educational Qualification: BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or allied subjects as electives or as a core subject in any of the semesters, in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 15/01/2019.
Basic Pay: Rs.56100/- per month.
4. SCIENTIST/ ENGINEER ‘SC’ (ARCHITECTURE)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (OBC)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor degree in Architecture in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% or equivalent CGPA and registration with Council of Architecture.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 15/01/2019.
Basic Pay: Rs.56100/- per month.
5. SCIENTIST/ ENGINEER ‘SC’ (ELECTRICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR) (At Semi Conductor Laboratory, Chandigarh)
Educational Qualification: BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Electrical Engineering OR Electrical and Electronics Engineering in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 15/01/2019.
Basic Pay: Rs.56100/- per month.
Candidates who are going to complete the above course in the academic year 2018-2019 are also eligible to apply.
The posts are Temporary, but likely to continue. The candidates will be posted in any of the Centres/ Units of the Indian Space Research Organisation/ Department of space.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Interview. The Written Test will be conducted on 10/03/2018 at the following centres namely Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.
