Eligibility Criteria for Sub Divisional Officers Kurseong Recruitment 2024
i) The minimum qualification is to pass Madhyamik or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. Candidates possessing a Madhyamik pass or higher qualification are also eligible. However, in the case of candidates with higher qualifications, only marks obtained in Madhyamik or equivalent examination will be considered.
ii) Applicant’s age should be between 30 to 40 years (as of 10.01.2024). In the case of SC/ST candidates, the lower age limit may be relaxed up to 22 years (as of 10.01.2024). There is no age/ reservation relaxation for OBC/ General category candidates.
iii) Applicant should be married/ divorced or widowed woman.
iv) The applicant should be a resident of the same village for which he/she will be selected.
Selection Process for SDO Kurseong Recruitment 2024
The selection would be based on marks obtained by the candidates in the Madhvamik or equivalent examination of the recognized board (90% weightage) and score in interview (10% weightage).
How to Apply for SDO Kurseong Recruitment 2024
1) The application should be filled in the prescribed format given hereunder under Annexure -B and submitted to the concerned BDO office on working days from 10.01.2024 to 30.01.2024 (11.00 AM to 5.00 PM). Applications received after the last date of submission will not be entertained.
2) The completed application should be submitted with two passport-size color identical photographs – one of which should be pasted in the space provided in Annexure-B in the application form and the other should be submitted along with the application form.
3) The passport-size photograph affixed to the application form should be self-attested by the candidate in such a way that part of the signature of the candidate is on the application form and the rest of the signature is on the photograph.
4) A self-addressed envelope (23 cm X 10 cm) with a postage stamp of Rs. 5/- (Five rupees) should be enclosed with the filled application only.
5) Place of submission of application form – respective office of Block Development Officer in whose jurisdiction the post of ASHA has been sanctioned.
Self-attested photocopies of the documents to be submitted along with the application form and the originals must be compulsorily shown by the applicant at the time of the interview:-
i) Proof of Permanent Residence — (Voter Identity Card / Ration Card)
ii) Mark sheet of secondary or equivalent examination of the recognized board as applicable. Even in case of failure in the examination, the candidate has to provide the mark sheet.
iii) Admit Card / Birth Certificate of recognized Board Secondary or equivalent examination as proof of age.
iv) SC/ST certificate to be submitted in support of age relaxation claim.
v) A copy of higher educational qualification above class 10 standard can be submitted.
vi) Candidates belonging to Self-Help Groups (Grade I or Grade II) can submit a certificate issued by the concerned Block Development Officer.
vii) Candidates who are Dais/Link staff trained under BPHC can submit a certificate issued by BMOH of the concerned block.
viii) Documents for proof of marriage/divorce/widowhood, if available may be submitted along with the application.
ix) Original documents (except those mentioned in points 6 and 7) need not be submitted. Self-attested copies of certificates will be checked/verified at the time of the interview. Hence eligible/ shortlisted applicants will be asked to bring original documents for mid-term or verification.
