The candidates will be appointed on Fixed Term Contract for a period of 03 (three) years at Chennai and Bengaluru stations of Southern Region. SECURITY AGENTS
No. of Vacancies: 159 Nos.
Station wise vacancies:
i. Chennai: 96 posts (Gen-51, SC-19, OBC-26)
ii. Bengaluru: 63 posts (Gen-33, SC-10, ST-04, OBC-16)
Educational Qualification:
A) For candidates with valid BCAS Basic AVSEC (12 days new pattern) Certificate:
i) Graduate in any discipline from are recognized University with ability to speak Hindi, English and conversant with local language.
ii) Must possess valid BCAS Basic AVSEC (12 days new pattern) Certificate.
Preferable:
i) BCAS Certified XBIS Screener (Valid Certification)
ii) BCAS Certified In-Line Screener (Valid certification)
B) For candidates without BCAS Basic AVSEC (12 days new pattern) Certificate:
i) Graduate in any discipline from are recognized University with ability to speak Hindi, English and conversant with local language.
Preferable:
i) NCC ‘B’/ ‘C’ Certificate
ii) Proficiency in fire fighting
iii) Knowledge in Industrial security
iv) Knowledge in disaster management
v) Knowledge of unarmed combat
vi) Legal Knowledge
vii) Armed forces/ Police back grounds
viii) Diploma/ Certification course in Computers.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01/07/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.19,590/- per month.
The candidates will be appointed on Fixed Term Contract for a period of 03 (three) years at Chennai and Bengaluru stations of Southern Region.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards (For all above posts):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 170 cms (162.5 cms for ST candidates)
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 157 cms (150 cms for ST candidates)
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test, Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Interview wherever applicable.
