Under Ministry of Defence, Ordnance Factory, Dehu Road, Pune, is recruiting 82 persons as “Semi-Skilled” in trades of — DBW, Boiler Attendant, Electrician, Fitter (Electrical/ Boiler/ Mechanical/ Instrument/ Refrigeration), Machinist, Turner, Welder, Mason, Switch Board Attendant, Examiner and Labourer. Interested candidates may prepare application on plain paper as per proforma. Details given below—
1. DBW: 30 Nos. (Gen—14; SC—5; ST—3; OBC—8). Out of them Ex-serviceman—3nos.
2. Boiler Attendant: 1 Nos. (Gen)
3. Electrician: 2 Nos. (Gen—1; ST—1)
4. Fitter Electrical: 5 Nos. (Gen—3; SC—1; OBC—1). Out of the them Ex-SErv.—1nos.
5. Fitter Boiler: 2 Nos. (Gen—1; OBC—1)
6. Fitter General (Mechanical): 3 Nos. (Gen—2; OBC—1). Out of them Ex-Serv—1nos.
7. Fitter Instrument: 2 Nos. (Gen)
8. Fitter Refrigeration: 1 Nos (Gen)
9. Machinist: 3nos. (Gen—2; OBC—1). Out of them PWD—1nos.
10. Turner: 3 Nos. (Gen—1; SC-1; OBC—1). Out of them PWD—1nos.
11. Welder: 1 Nos. (Gen—1)
12. Mason: 2 Nos. (Gen)
13. Switch Board Attendant: 2 Nos. (Gen)
14. Examiner: 15 Nos. (Gen—9; SC—1; ST—2; OBC—2). Out of them Ex-Serv—1nos, PWD—1nos.
15. Labourer: 10 Nos. (Gen—7; SC—1; OBC—2). Out of them PWD—1; Ex-Serv—1 Nos.
Qualification: Madhyamik Pass candidates who have NCTVT Certificate in respective trades for which candidates opt to apply. Candidates with ITI or equivalent Diploma/ Certificate in respective trade may also apply.
For the post of Labourer— Madhyamik pass candidates may apply (No any trade certificate required)
Age : between 18yrs to 32yrs as on last date of application. Age relaxation—SC/ST:5yrs, OBC—3yrs, PWD—10yrs and Ex-Serviceman—as per norms.
Pay Scale: 5200—Rs.20200 and Grade pay—Rs.1800 + allowances.
Selection Steps: For all the posts (except for Sl.No.15- Labourer), candidates will be selected through Written Test, Trade Test/Practical Test.
Written test will be of Objective type of 100 marks on syllabus of a particular trade for which candidates applied. Trade Test/Practical Test will be as per Trade Test specification of the semi-skilled grade.
For selection of the post in Sl.No.15 (Labourer), candidates will be selected through Written Test (Objective/ Multiple choice type) which will be of 100 marks on – General Intelligence and Arithmetic.
Application Fee: Application fee of Rs.50 is to be paid in form of Indian Postal Order or crossed Bank Draft which should be in favour of — THE GENERAL MANAGER, ORDNANCE FACTORY, DEHU ROAD, payable at Dehu Road.
No Application fee is required for SC/ST/PWD and Ex-serviceman.
How to Apply: Application form is to be prepared on plain paper as per format. Enclose all the necessary documents in attested copies in support of Age, Qualification, Trade/ Apprenticeship, Caste, PH certificates and any other relevant documents as applicable for a post. Documents should be attested by Gazetted Officer only.
Candidates should paste one self-signed photograph on the form and other two self-signed photographs enclosed with the application.
