Central Government’s under Ministry of Defence, Small Arms Factory for various Trades is recruiting 68 boys as “Semi Skilled”. Name of Trades and details given below—
Name of Trades and No. of Vacancies—
Machinist: 21 Nos. (Gen-12, OBC-5, SC-4) among them PH-1nos.
Fitter (General): 23 Nos. (Gen-13, OBC-5, SC-4, ST-1)
Electrician: 6 Nos. (Gen-4, OBC-1, SC-1)
Grinder: 4 Nos. (Gen-2, OBC-1, SC-1)
Turner: 5 Nos. (Gen-3, OBC-1, SC-1)
Examiner: 3 Nos. (Gen-2, SC-1)
Required Qualification: Diploma or Trade Certificate Course from National Council for Vocational Training (N.C.T.V.T.) approved I.T.I. on any above mentioned Trades may apply for the post.
Machinist, Fitter and Turner Trade Certificate/Diploma holder may also apply for the post of Examiner.
Age Limit: For all the above mentioned posts the age of the candidate should be within 18yrs to 32yrs as on 20-1-2012. Age relaxation for OBC-3yrs, SC/ST-5yrs and PH- 10yrs. Ex-serviceman- as per norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 to Rs.20200 and Grade pay: Rs.1800
Candidates’ selection: On basis of marks obtained in ITI/ National Trade and Apprenticeship Certificate exam shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Exam of 100 marks. The questions will be of Objective Types on Trades relative. If qualified then will be called for 100 marks of Trade Test.
How to Apply: Application can be prepared on Plain paper as per given format. Along with application form candidate should enclose the following documents—
- Attested copies of Age proof and Educational Certificates
- Attested copy of Caste certificate/PH /Discharge certificate for SC/ST/OBC/PH and Ex-Serviceman.
- 3 Nos. passport size photograph (one copy pasted on application form and signed on it in such a way that it runs both on image and form, other 2 copies should be enclosed after writing Name and name of Trade on backside of its)
- Demand Draft or Postal Order of Rs.50 (No fee required for SC/ST/PH and Ex-Serviceman) in favour of- “The General Manager, Small Arms Factory, Kalpi Road, Kanpur-09”.
