Under Ministry of Defence – Senior Quality Assurance Establishment (Armaments), Cossipore, Kolkata, is recruiting – Examiner, Fitter, Machinist, Grinder, Tradesman and Labour. Eligible and interested candidates may apply on prescribed Application format. Application form must reach within 21days from the date of publication of the notification. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below —
Number of vacancies according to discipline wise—
— Examiner (Skilled): 13 Nos. (Gen—6; SC—2; OBC—4; PH—1)
— Fitter (General Mechanic- Skilled): 1 Nos. (Gen)
— Machinist (Skilled): 1 Nos. (Gen)
— Grinder Skilled: 1 Nos. (Gen)
— Tradesman (Semi-skilled): 4 Nos. (Gen—1; SC—1; ST—1; OBC—1)
— Labour (Semi-skilled): 2 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification Required:—
(i) Matriculation or equivalent
(ii) ITI Certificate in the specified trade or its equivalent or Defence Services Tradesman Course for the post of Fitter (Gen Mech), Machinist and Grinder
(iii) One year experience in the Trade for all posts except post of labour (semi-skilled) and Tradesman (semi-skilled).
(iv) Examiner (Skilled), Tradesman (semi-skilled) and Labour (semi-skilled) should be ITI qualified in Machinist Trade.
Age Limits: Upto 27 years as on closing date of application. Upper age relaxation as per Govt. norms.
Pay scale: For skilled discipline—Rs.5200 to 20200 and Grade pay: Rs.1900/- and For Semi-skilled discipline—Rs.5200 to 20200 and Grade pay: Rs.1800/- per month
The selected candidates will be posted at SQAE (A) Cossipore, Kolkata (West Bengal) – 700002. Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test/ Trade test/ Interview (as applicable for the post). Refer the advt. for details.
Date and venue of Written Examination / Interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates by Post.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply on prescribed Application format (link given below) along with attested copies of testimonials. Candidates must superscribe the name of the post applied for on the top of the application form containing envelope.
Enclose one self-addressed envelope (30cm X 12cm) with affixed postal stamp of Rs.25/-
Candidates may prepare the application on plain A4 size as per given format. Candidates, if wish, may apply for more than one post in same application form for which they have to clearly mention it in bold letters in the envelope as well as in the application form.
N.B: Candidates must prepare and send the prescribed Admit Card in two copies and then should paste recent passport size photographs on it (duly attested by Gazetted Officer)
Last Date of Application: The application must reach the below address on or before 21 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in Employment Newspaper/ Rojgar Samachar. (30 days in case of candidates applying form Andaman, Nicobar and Lakshadweep Island).
