Ministry of Defence (DGQA) – Senior Quality Assurance Establishment, Kanpur is recruiting 10 Technician (SS)/ Labourers and MTS (O). Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format (See PDF below) within scheduled date. Educational Qualification norms and other details in brief are given below —
1. TECHINICIAN (SS)/ LABOURERS
Number of Vacancies: 7 Nos. (Gen—4; OBC—1; SC—2)
Educational Qualification: ITI Pass certificate in any one of the following trades – Fitter, Electrician, Cutting & Sewing, Textile Designing, Carpenter, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant.
2. MTS (O)
Number of Vacancies: 3 Nos. (Gen—2; OBC—1)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation/ Class 10 pass.
Age Limit: 18yrs to 27yrs for the post of Technician/Labourers AND 18yrs to 25yrs for the post of MTS(O), as on last date of application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Pay Scale (for both posts): Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1800/- per month
Eligible candidates will be called for Written Test and then for Interview. The posts are temporary but likely to continue. Exact date and venue of examination will be intimated to the eligible candidates through admit card in due course.
Selected candidates will be on probation for 02 years.

The Application form shall be enclosed with Self-attested copies of testimonials in support of Educational Qualification/ITI Qualification, Caste certificate, Age proof and Etc.
Candidates must also enclose one self-addressed envelope (25 x10 cm) with affixed postal stamp of Rs.25/-
Superscribe the application containing envelope with the name of the post applied for – “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ________”.

The last date of receipt of application is 02/08/2014 for candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu & Kashmir State, Lahaul-Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.
